AMD, Intel, and Nvidia's CPU and GPU prices could rise another 20% in the next months.

Regarding this articole, to bad we can get the new console from XBOX and PLAYSTATION a lot more easy, only so we will live PC for other task's. After the last AMD GPU release (4GB) now this...
PC components are going to cost more that a car, lol...

 

I bought a 2016 Chevy Silverado in May of last year with less than 25k miles on it and it's now worth more than I paid for it by more than 10%. I don't thing cars are going to be affordable either.

 

Your main problem is believing what they tell you.

I'd say if you want to remain in pc gaming this might be your last chance to buy anything for under £1500. Just finance it. We're the last generation that will be able to own powerful home computers.

the amount profit money these companies are making they can eat that cost, and save the customer money conisdering state of thing atm, but they will just use it reason to raise there price 30% or more towards customers.

They will use any excuse to raise prices as much as possible so they make more money.

Yeah things looked good in early 2021 prices started coming down supply even for the rare NVIDIA 3070's and 3080's were stocked even if quantities were limited and sold out quick.
Month or two later it's gotten really bad and then worse and now AMD and NVIDIA are rising prices further while introducing additional models for a higher base MSRP while the various third party designs and overall store prices are worse than ever.

Back then it sounded like early 2022 would resolve the supply problems and now it's 2024 - 2025 and the next product prices is going to be terrible because demand is still extreme so now mid-end parts are sold at high-end pricing.
Pretty sure the stock GPU models aren't even sold outside of AMD or NVIDIA directly and getting one is next to impossible, heard NVIDIA even raised EU pricing even further from a news bit yesterday for their Founder GPU variants.


EDIT: Doubtful the AMD 6x50's or what they will be named will be anything impressive aside from the higher cost still for the next card rumored to be released.
NVIDIA I guess there's still the 3090 Ti rumors but it might be something like the Kingpin version with mostly specialized cards guess we shall see what becomes of it.

And finally the big thing with the RDNA3's (So Navi30 ?) and Lovelaces for late 2022 or early 2023 and seeing what this price situation has done for the new GPU generation.
