From what you had commented before and seeing your image. Mine should look like this? What about as interrupt priority options? Leave all as undefined?

those are really only useful on device busy systems, which yours doesn't seem to be.

Several PCI-Express root ports, Intel Management Engine Interface, Thermal Management Controller - those devices which you can`t disable in BIOS...

Last time I was bothered with inf update utility - on Win 8.1. Win10 detects and installs all system PCI-E devices on Intel platform itself. And do you see those devices on Sergio987`s screenshot?

The only one I don't see is the thermal management controller.

The thermal management controller tends to randomly appear and disappear on x79 board.

    its stumped others too.

i don't have the root ports

    That`s on x299 motherboard

And on x79 one I always saw root ports and IMEI devices in MSI utility (on Win7, Win8.1 and Win10).

Device manager is not listing the negative IRQ for them either.

That`s default value for SATA/RAID controllers.
I would not advise to mess with priorities, especially for your rig - you disabled all unused devices (good move).

So I shouldn't change anything? Leave it as it is in the image?

Turn MSI mode for first two devices - they are both NVIDIA. And be aware that every NVIDIA driver installation reverts videocard back to legacy mode.

Okay, I just have three more questions.

1- First, you tell me to activate the video card and high definition audio. In case I don't use the video card audio should I activate anyway?

2- Second, just to confirm. Should I not set sata ahci to high in interrupt priority? Just asking because I saw this in your image and Astyanax image.

3- Third and last, what would happen if I activated the last 2 of my image that don't have MSI supported?

MSI mode is better in theory and in practice (when devices support it correctly). So why not...

If you have not changed that on your rig then do not touch it.

Best case scenario - they will ignore it. Worst case scenario - they will not work.

USB2 controllers do not support MSI mode (for whatever reasons).

to be honest yes I use it to combine AMD chipset changes on the power plan and with the other custom plans for Win10/11 as I am testing alot of variables and alot of options hence I use this program mainly every day and alot of hours invested in to get the perfect custom powerplan for AMD ryzens for Laptops :)

that would be enough for me :)

Sorry for the late reply... life hasn't gave me a break since COVID...

Here is a little of work I did on the past and I am planning to release a new version of PowerPlan :)
