I give it a few more years and E3 will be nothing more than a tiny convention or it will merge with something like PAX. It's much cheaper for game companies to just stand someone in front of a green screen talking absolute drivel about out of date hardware specs and how much they have sold in between each new game trailer. Then have 200+ youtubers and twitch streamers doing react videos to their video, its free promotion.
