    if 12700F does just -100mhz less than 12700K,as was the case with 10700F and 10700KF,it's gonna be the go to gaming cpu.
    pair it with ddr4 and b660 and enjoy great performance with latest connectivity standards at almost reasonable price :D

    More likely the 12400F is going to be the go-to. High core count and E-Cores have been proven at this point to add very little to gaming performance, so a 4.4GHz 6-core HT chip with Alder Lake cores should be more than enough power for any game. Plus it should be as cheap as the AMD alternatives once you can get a mobo that doesn't cost the Earth.

    Has anyone been able to OC via the BUS clock on ADL MB so these non K processors can get a little boost?

    Get a B560 board with decent VRM's along with an aftermarket h/s and run it with the power limits off in the bios. Will probably be the same for the B660 boards and locked cpu's.
