Thanks for the reply, everything is working fine. Out of curiosity and to verify everything is in order I reinstalled the driver again, no DDU, just clean install option checked. Everything went well, 496.49 installed again the way its supposed to be.

Every few drivers or so, I get black screens on my main monitor. This driver causes it again. I rolled back to the previous version and the issue is gone.

These drivers broke Blu Ray disc playback using Corel WinDVD12 Pro on my Windows 10 PC, connected via DisplayPort 1.4 to my Samsung G7 32" Odyssey monitor.

I have been binge watching The Sopranos Blu Ray box set until today, where suddenly no disc would playback. The only difference was installing these drivers. I removed them and went back to 472.12 and WinDVD12 Pro started working again!

I tried this on both my desktop PC's and they both behaved in exactly the same way. Both machines failed at playing backBlu Ray discs with these drivers. They both worked flawlessly before installing them.

    Never seen that before.

Fixed the dropping hashrate issue by just setting the nvcp power management to high performance. For what its worth I was even able to add +100 on memory clock using excavator without it throwing errors with this driver.

Ive been a firm believer that setting the high performance option on nvcp was a myth/placebo that "knowitall" people always suggest and doesnt actually do anything to help fix things, but on this one I was surprised it actually did something lol

Great driver, also very fast (maby even better than last one).
Stable & NP on my side.

This one needed restart, so it's new somehow.

    Games:
Forza H4, BFV Multi, MtGA, FC5 and others working fine :p

Yes it is, but thanks for playing... No it isn't, b...................................................
Is it really the place to debate Win7/Win10 ? Use your OS of choice and that's it.

blurays working fine for me with PDVD17

    @venturi just had a thought

you reproduced it on server 22, do you have windows animations disabled on 10?

i believe they are disabled default on server, if you're turning them off elsewhere this could be a factor on the lack of reproductions, i've seen reportee's for the issue across all supported graphics cards so its not affecting just ampere, and monitor size and depth seems irrelevant.

All of them, so, forex: typing a word document...the letters typed not being on the screen and paying catch up...general issues with dx11 and dx12 games...watching videos via netflix, or, a video player like vlc or wmp...moving the mouse across the screen had lag.

All gone now I switched back to the studio driver.

Do you have a GSYNC screen? If so, try turning GSYNC off and see if it makes a difference. I've disabled GSYNC for certain applications in the control panel as it causes issues like lagging or flickering with them.

Too late now (since you went back to different driver), but I have seen laggy Word get fixed by disabling graphics acceleration in Word/Excel (all the Office apps share the setting). If multiple apps were showing same behavior, it may have been something else though.

Just to report I too had the audio dropouts but i dont often use the hdmi audio from the tv so dont really notice.
8K60/4k120hz TV again so im assuming @ManuelG its a DSC/HDMI 2.1 issue if it helps to reproduce

    Nopes, that's not it.

My default settings for ages, 7-9-13, never had any issues with them.

I have never heard of graphics acceleration in MS Office in my life, and I do not think that if it even existed I would ever have a need to turn it off or on because of a certified driver.
