How could I view all the OSD stats on the desktop, as I would see if an application profile triggered the OSD? I have everything turned on in the Global profile, as it is in by Gaming profile, which works great in-game. I even creates a profile for explorer.exe, which does not work. I've heard there may be a hardcoded exclusion, so it won't show the OSD on the desktop, when not in game/application. I want to monitor stats all the time, especially when I'm encoding video. Nevermind, just run C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\SDK\Tools\DesktopOverlayHost\Release\DesktopOverlayHost.exe. Also the change the background color, click "Desktop Overlay Host" in the systray.
Is there a possibility: 1. Keep monitoring on the desktop in the background, not on top of other windows? 2. Bind different OSD layer templates to different applications?
The Tool DesktopOverlayHost is completely open source, you can edit and make it behave like you want it to. Have a look in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\SDK\Tools\DesktopOverlayHost So the answer is yes, but you should be able to code in c++
I managed to display stats on a second monitor with DesktopOverlayHost, but I still see the OSD also in game. Is the possibility to hide it and keep the only OSD on the second monitor?
