    No issues in Warzone, I've also tried with RTSS overlay active and Freestyle works fine.
    I'm on the latest RTSS beta and tested the default overlay, not the fancy one from the plugin.

    I got a couple of errors while installing this over the previous driver. I had the standard version installed maybe that's why i got a error, something about Microsoft Visual C++.

    -The Appx service is probably not running, make sure its running.
    - In order for the store to work the ms firewall must also be on.
    - Then in the gpedit.msc make sure you don't have "disable store" set to enable (in gpedit - located in windows components/store)
    - Also, in yer host file make sure you're not blocking ms telemetry sites. You can put a # in front of the blocked sites, and afterwards remove the # to resume telemetry blocking.
    - The nv control panel will disappear on next boot if you have disabled in task scheduler the software protection platform service, later you can always stop the software protection platform service in task scheduler from running and also set the service to manual.

    THEN
    one should be able to install the dch driver control panel.

    Of course, it would be much simpler for nvidia to just release the driver in standard format rather than make folks go through this. I had to do a script to enable all that crap and another to lock it back down. Not a big deal, but wish it wasn't necessary, but now its a click to do it (if there's a compelling reason).

    Thank you microsoft and nvidia

    unfortunately this new driver was not worth the effort now that I played with it. --- I'm back to the standard 472.12... felt good undoing the dch crap and getting rid of MS store

    Delete the folder %Temp%\NvCamera that will reset all the caches and settings of freestyle, I fix similar issues that way in the past, then run the game

    Al that crap is in reference to all the telemetry and MS store stuff,
    but separating the nvcontol panel from the driver install, and continue to include all the geforce experience seems non sequitur. What's the point of separating the control panel to the ms store but including all the other stuff makes little sense.

    Was sceptical about such gains coming from a driver update for a (almost) year old game (or tought maybe it was specific to your setup), but I confirm for AC Valhalla: Seing some very nice 10%+ gains here too, but in a GPU limited scenario (3080 @ 95-96% + 5600X @ 45ish% average).

    More specifics:
    1440p native
    All maxed out except for antialiasing (Medium), Volumetric Clouds ans Shadows (Very High), Depth of field (Off)
    W10x64 - 21h1
    Hags On (for those interested)

    Edit: Clutter free drivers
    496 Clutter free.jpg
    Benchmarks were run twice each time to confirm within margin of error

    471.96:
    Min = 50
    Average = 92
    Max = 169
    Lowest 1% = 69
    Lowest 0.1% = 53

    496.13:
    Min = 51
    Average = 103
    Max = 189
    Lowest 1% = 77
    Lowest 0.1% = 59

    No other difference so far though for couple of other DX12 games (SoTTR and BL3) I tried benching to see if similar gains would apply.

    3 of the 700 series do use the Maxwell chip, so those are still supported.

    Seems to be 256MB.

    Btw why is nVidia insisting on setting sharpening for NFS Heat game by default i still have no idea, it doesnt set sharpening for any other modern game i own (~20). It actually looks worse with it. /smh

    This driver seems to give me artifacts in 2D i.e. using the browser or having explorer windows open. Everything in 3D seems fine so far (3DMark, Far Cry 6 and Snowrunner tested so far). I can`t pinpoint it what it might be, turned OC on my 3090 on and off with no change and also disabeling GSYNC on my FI32U monitor doesnt affect it.

    Very strange, never had those issues before... o_O

    Cheers guys!

    I just rolled back to the 472.19 drivers and everything is fine again... Something within the new driver doesn`t like my config :(

    On the positive side, the new drivers gave me a Firestrike score boost of around 500 points. Crap, now I can envy everyone running these with no issues.... :D

    Cheers!

    Do you think 10gb for cache is enough? Or more than enough.

    Real progamers go unlimited. You gotta buy a superfast dedicated 5TB nvme to get some gains. :D

    Jokes apart, I think it's more than enough, considering the default value is 256MB. I've set it myself to 10GB.

    The cache is replaced with newer shaders when it gets full, olders one get purged. You basically "need" 10GB if you have 50 games installed and you never want to replace anything in the cache which tbh doesnt really make sense. If you set it to unlimited then games you play and uninstall will never get purged and youll end up with a disk full of useless cache. It should be set based on use case and number of games you have. For average use 1 GB is prob way more than enough, actually even default 256 is way more than enough but w/e.
