Hmm, I was using Revo Uninstaller, and couldn't find it even there, but after using BCUninstaller now, I can see it. Will try it out, and will post results then.
    Thanks for the suggestion!

EDIT: Just tried it out, and it won't allow me to uninstall any of the components. It just errors out saying that there are no files.
For every other component it says that it's already installed, and that it will reinstall it. Only PSP Driver is an "upgrade" and it fails on it every time.
This is how the installation summary looks like when it fails:[IMG]

That's correct Ryzen 5000 uses the windows power plans only, 3000 needs it and to a less extent 2000.

i went to my motherboard page this morning, the asus crosshair viii extreme, and to my surprise i saw that there was a new chipset driver from amd "AMD Chipset driver V3.10.22. 706 for Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 64-bit. (WHQL)"

just so you're aware, the asus version being a different number doesn't mean it contains anything different to the amd provided package, except asus usually puts their own asussetup crap into the zip package, the contents of the amd folder inside are often matching that of an older AMD released package.

in this case though, the asus package has some updates to the Qt packaging, and a sub installer is versioned higher.

These latest drivers are messing with my Windows 11 install somehow, I'm using an MSI B550 Tomahawk, latest bios, Ryzen 5600X on the latest version of Win11, fully updated. After installing these some programs just appear to refuse to open, GIMP, EPIC Launcher, Amazon Games App are the ones I've noticed so far. The weird thing is, if you wait, like 10-15 minutes they suddenly appear and load up, it's like a massive delay. Everything was working flawlessly before I installed these and I've now done a system restore 3 times, everything working fine again, installed these latest chipset drivers and instantly, same problem. So it's definitely these causing it. Never had a bug quite like it tbh.

I try my epic games launcher and all went fine, try to reinstall to see if your problem went away

I'm glad I saw this before installing. Once installed, I had the same exact issue with Epic's Launcher. I rolled back to a restore point I made prior to install and it works just fine now. This is very strange. I'll be holding off on Chipset drivers for a while as there's no need for me to update right now anyway. I'll DDU when the time comes. For reference, I have a 5600x on an AsRock X470 Master SLI/ac mobo.

If you have Visual Studio installed and Windows 11 the last Windows 11 update (march 13th i think) might cause such problem as it fails to update properly on some system having Visual Studio installed.
