I offical cant...can wait, my system is unsupported and have zero intrest in make new system anytime soon with how prices are, my 1070ti is gona turn in to my 9800gtx, that thing died before i had rma, and i didnt buy new gpu till the 660gts. Prices are outragous right now and I Think MS couldnt of picked a worse time to force hardware requirements that 3 gen old.

Short of my system out right dying I wont have win 11 or even new pc build and ore gpu anytime soon.

you mean in games? like warzone and etc?

i disable trusted computing in my biosar mobo... because i think TPM consumes resources if left alone.

Microsoft just puts too much bloatware and also unneeded services. i game alot and need an OS that is not consuming more ram and less background computation from unneeded services. thats why i use windows 10 Lite OS. i only install the services needed if the Game needs it.

Your issue is a hardware fault, not the TPM.

Memory usage has been dynamic since way before Win 10. When a game is launched, windows will allocate all resources to it that needs. That includes taking away resources or memory from lower priority services or apps just to ensure the game runs at its full potential. Lite versions of 10 will only get you a little more drive space, not performance.

My windows update will just tell me that I can not upgrade to Windows 11. While my mainboard has a TPM slot, the compatible module is no longer being made, and what little stock was left anywhere has been long scalped for outrageous prices. It's fine though, Windows 10 has 4 years of support left, and that is about the time then when a completely new PC will be in order anyway.

yes i noticed that too just now when i observed the background services when i played warzone... but to me personnaly , im am still bothered that these un-needed services are popping back again after gaming and getting CPU time especially that windows defender GRRRRRR.

Its one of the benefits having a 16t cpu and 32gb system ram. No need to disable or close anything.

Few games like Star Citizen cannot be run with 16gb even if you do disable everything.

Good job I have never wanted to or played star citizen then lol

Some games I have seen hit 10-12gb but thats total consumption so games used around 8-9gb

I'll wait couple months 'till it's stable and then upgrade my win10 license on both my desktop and laptop.

My first step will be to do a full clean install on a clean HDD on a backup machine that clones my main machine for about a year. If all goes well then I will do a clean install on my main machine. Upgrades are just asking for trouble/issues.

I hope that the taskbar will once again have its usual functionality, with options like show labels, don't combine, and drag and drop.

I would add to that list latest CoD titles, most RT games in 4K and some heavy modded games :p
And seeing how W11 have even higher system requirements this will only go up..
