I guess it's just me, but I have no idea what Vanguard's supposed to be, how it fits into the trinity of COD, and why I should care. That's not exactly how you do marketing, Activision.
This to me is really funny, it's like CoD wants to bring their own version of BFV fail and BF2042 trying to copy Warzone.
It's funnier because both games (BFV and Warzone) are painfully mediocre. BFV single player was fine, multiplayer mixed bag with too much emphasis on things no one cared about (firestorm, microtransactions). Warzone is just another mindless battle royale, decent gameplay at the core knee-capped by the limited scope and A.D.D. design choices / catering to tweens. I'm cautiously optimistic about BF2042 having done the play testing last week, it's closer to DICE playing their greatest hits vs copying Warzone.
I agree with the person who said "yawn." That's exactly what I did. The whole Call of Duty franchise seems to have become a milking table where gamers lay (lie? need help from grammar police) on their stomachs so Activision can slip underneath with mouth opened wide. They are insatiable.
