Yes, because i use Legacy GCN too, HD 8790M. Unlike Legacy Terascale (HD 5XXX, HD 6XXX), GCN architecture ranged from HD 78XX, R200, R300 is capable gpu to run Dx12 gaming titles. So is worth to keep this legacy GCN updates and running with latest game titles.

    Thanks for the reply mate.

So what is the general consesus regarding these modded drivers? will they work as normal/official drivers?

Is there any benefits to wddm 3 over older versions or does it not really matter yet.

As long the driver is WHQL. It's normal to use modded driver just like official. This modded driver even without disabling driver signature or enabling test mode to work with. Also on some system nimez driver even work with Secure Boot Enabled

You have to select dependency "correctly" corresponding to driver version (GCN, Polaris, etc) . Since 21.8.1 we introduced customized radeon UI installer on NzSetup. It has install/repair/remove feature

If you have gpu like polaris and newer with windows 11 installed, wddm 3.0 in some cases can increase gaming performance experience

    I just installed:
    With this dependency:
Everything seems well, but I can't find the Radeon Settings app... I perform the installed process and left everything pretty much at default.

    What could be causing this?

You're using driver arch. Polaris/Vega/Navi with arch. GCN dependencies. So the Radeon Settings not shown.

Not sure what any of that means, sorry mate.

What's the proper way to enable the Radeon Settings?

    specify your GPU model.
If using older gpu like Radeon HD, R5/R7/R9 download&install the dependencies with GCN names.
If you using RX Series download&install the dependencies with Polaris/Vega/Navi names

oh do you know if AMD capped the throttle temp to 80c in a driver update? Cuz my rx 580 used to go to 84c but now it throttles at 80c.

Idk, because my sapphire Nitro RX 580 never reaching over 75'C during game. Already OC'ed but with lower voltage values. Used Grizzly Carbonaut Pad years ago.

Stupid question, but is it possible to enable Freesync for GCN 1.0 & GCN 1.1. Is there some hardware limitation in terms of display capability in ports or what could it be? I read that it is because of hardware capability but no one defined exactly which one.
