someone wrote this about BF2042 Played the play test today. Game looked worse than bf3 and the gun/gameplay felt like bf5. Many animations are missing. Blinking texts over dropped weapons. Destruction was exactly like BF3/4. There were bots on the server as well.
Oh wow, seriously!? And this for an alpha technical plyatest, no way...not like this is common for alpha playtests and was so the prev. playtests. Whoever wrote this must be too stupid to get what a technical playtest is. And stop posting videos from the test, its not allowed, they get taken down anyway. If people want leaked gameplay there are plenty sites where you can watch some. It also doesnt matter how many BF games you own, there is no pattern who gets choosen and who not. You also need to enable playtests in your profile, which is not enabled by default (why should it) - i guess many people that are complaining do not even have it enabled.
Yeah, great Trailer. IMhO BF2042 will look similar to this In-Game Trailer (maby not 100% like, but very similar). Also BF2042 will be on Guru3D Video Game Test suite im sure of it....
I wouldnt call 2 weeks old tho...other than that, thats also pretty normal and always has been the case with BF technical playtests.
There better freaking not be bots on normal live servers... that's gonna ruin the experience. It's so lame in star wars battlefront 2 getting kills, only to realize that you are only killing bots. And it needs to look amazing.
Look at JackFrag videos. He is giving all the answers about bots and most likely most things you need to know Ps: players will have priority over bots. Bots wil only fill if there is imbalance in the server. Players join, and bots are gone In Europe there will not be many bots on servers, because Battlefield is very popular here with a pretty big playerbase.
Will depend alot on several factors... if it's an awful server system like in bf5, then yeah, servers will be full all the time, cause there are no private servers running the maps you like, meaning everyone just presses auto join match. But if it's like bf4 (which i much prefered !), then there are often gonna be 10-20 open spots on private servers... and those shouldn't be populated by lame bots...
FPS overlay not working, crash when entering server, my exp so far. Reso Scale auto down to 43% lol..FOV is auto set to 9!!!! Now its not even starting anymore. Starting, loading server, back to main menu, and again,..now idle on server no-clipping, nothing is working. 3rd try, the same - this is not even playable. How im suppose to test something if its not even working - nothing is working, except for the main menu, wow.
Don't change the settings. 43% is 100% Changing fov from 9 stops you from changing weapon attachments. Reset to default and change nothing
Ok, still, game is not working, im idling in water below the command ship if connecting to a server is working. in 4/5 cases the game issnt even starting at all, only black screen (like when the servers are not open) but they are.. You also have to kill the task in taskman, no matter if alt+f4, forcre quit, normal quit, man,...not even this is working peroperly.
