The company released a short statement on a Twitter account carrying a “3dfx Interactive” handle. Jansen Products claims to have acquired the assets of the 3dfx Interactive on July 23rd and is now in a process of trademarking the name. If all that is true, it is truly bizarre to see an announcement of a brand’s return, before the name is even trademarked. Also, Jansen sounds a lot like “Jensen” a name of the founder and CEO of NVIDIA. The assets of the 3dfx Interactive were mostly acquired by NVIDIA, especially the intellectual property rights. However, who exactly owned the brand right now is not quite clear. The statement claims that the company plans to produce graphic cards and other products such as smartphones and smart TVs. This company would without a doubt not produce its own graphics processors though. We have not been able to find any trace of the trademark acquisition nor any trace of Jansen Products operating in San Franciso. However, it is a few days since the Twitter account was made, and clearly, no other company has decided to take it down. With everything in mind, we believe that this account is just for trolling and such a company does not exist. We decided to make this post only after receiving countless tips from our readers.
3dfx Interactive op Twitter: "3dfx Q3 2021 Announcements (Thread). https://t.co/LOahhLZtai" / Twitter 10% investment in videocards. This ain't the 3dfx from the old days anymore. Move along folks, nothing to see here!

There will be a NetVista edition for wireless applications! Disclaimer: use of the product outside intended specs voids warranty.
