that would almost make sense though. they would have been less likely to get tagged by the infrared helicopter. i'm sure they must have eventually noticed the traffic and or patterns of the residents or something like that though.
they've been doing that in LA and San Diego for years for the high end product. i mean before it was legalized. they were all off the grid and solar powered, even had air filtration and automation.

There's online outlets that sell electronics including gpus for crypto, places selling gold also, not many of them granted and not ideal but they do exist. seen a youtube vid also listing all you could buy like boats, property and stuff. *sry i think i read your post wrong, i read it like cant buy a video card 'with it' lol.
