Official papers from amd nda show equal performance or up to 15% depending on title. So, 6600xt is weak compared to 3060TI. 3060 is the opponent. Now I am sure we won't get 6600 non XT like we never got 6700 non XT.
looks good at 1080p,but that's the least you can expect if the msrp is $50 higher. i'm afraid at 1440p 128-bit with 32mb icache is gonna take a big dip.even amd are reluctant to talk about 1440p,and for god's sake, this is a $380 card in 2021,it should be a 1440p gpu.
Baseless hypothesis: They're going to release them early next year to counter the RTX 3060 SUPER and RTX 3050 SUPER respectively.
lol but made up super skus and launch dates are not baseless tho right ? waiting for that ga103 20g g6 sku, it's been on about to launch status for a year.
With that pricing, we will never really see 3050ti/super/3060super/rx6600/rx6700. We must be able to get a 3060/6600xt well under 400€. That's a good start.
Most don't, but @kopite7kimi and @greymon55 do. Both are certain Nvidia will have a SUPER refresh early next year.
then they will. I thought you meant some moores law schmock any mentions for that ga103 ? I gotta say if there was a 3070-3080 in between card with 16-20g g6 non-x at 250-270w power draw i'd be fine with 750eur, 800eur even in realistic prices.
180 euro for the same result on previous aviable gen (RX 5500 XT)... no comment For the same price there is lot of 2nd hand RX 6700 XT and even some RX 6800... maybe a better investement (from my part i am really happy of my 2nd hand RX 6700 XT for the HD gaming).
These card prices are insane. I paid about $400 for my 5700XT. And it looks like I will be using it for some time to come. Fortunately it's handling everything I throw at without to much of an issue. I am sure it's working its arse off but it's getting it done. I don't think these card prices are sustainable. They are only being kept afloat by crypto. Once that bubble pops, and it will pop, they won't be able to sell a new card at those ridiculous prices because used cards will be a dime a dozen.
LOL, $379 for a budget GPU. AMD bumped MSRP more than twice in past several years... Hope Intel GPUs won't be like this and will be like Intel CPU - relatively cheap and widely available. We need also Chinese into the game - PowerVR C-series into consumer dGPU.
This is utter ridiculous. A 1080 card? In 2021? Where are 1440p cards? Where are affordable 1440p GPUs?
What the hell this marketing, brainwash and titles. 1080p or recycle your rig. I can play all games with my rx580 at 1440p if I keep my expectations on a leash. 6600xt will destroy my 580, it will beat last 5700xt which was a 1440p card back on the day. Now we talk about real propaganda.
