Radeon-ID Community Driver: Hybrid - Release Nebula 23.11.1 WHQL

That was fast @mylipho15 ...I just installing now yours 21.7.2 drivers on R9 Fury...gonna let you know how fast they are comparing to the previous versions!!!

Ok I did few quick test runs...tested this driver in Passmark,Time Spy,Superposition,Strange Brigade....
There are no much difference comparing to the other drivers except when it comes to the DX12 test in Strange Brigade benchmark here this driver was even faster then 21.6.2....
Strange Brigade/Game Benchmark
21.6.2 Driver=4k results 53Fps / 1440p result 80Fps Ultra Settings
21.7.1 Driver=4k result 44Fps / 1440p result 69Fps Ultra Settings
21.7.2 Driver=4k result 54Fps / 1440p result 83Fps Ultra Settings

First few run it was not 100% stable until I rise the power limit after that runs fine....

 

What is uwp? is it supported on my card? can you give a link? my card r9 380

 

UWP is just a Microsoft way to release programs, imagine like APK for Android.

And yes, you can use the driver with UWP Radeon Settings. (but not WDDM3 driver cuz for now its only for PolarisVegaNavi

I can't install uwp app on GCN, I've installed radeon driver and uwp pair throught NimeZ but I get error that uwp pair is missing

My rig :

- Sapphire R9 Fury Nano
- i7 3770k
- Windows 10 Home 21H1
- Driver => UWP-GCN-WHQL-SpotFix-NimeZSlim-Adrenalin-21.7.2_RSA

 

Do you guys activated the certificate within Nimez installer? You have to press 3 and only after to install the UWP.

 

Yes and i've got the same error when i install it manualy (AMDRadeonUWP_GCN_10.20.50016.0_x64) after to press 3.
In auto mode it's just install AMD Bug Report Tool and nothing else. I try to restart too, same error ...

PS: My Windows 10 Home 21H1 is up to date. And my others UWP Apps works and update fine.

 

War Thunder refuse to start with 21.7.2

It's based on 21.Q1.2 Radeon Enterprise but with updated libraries from 21.7.2, that's normal

Same here, even with Hotfix 2.0. HD 7970. Is there a way to install this uwppair driver manually since it didn't installed successufuly?

For me error is: App installation failed with error message: Class not registered (0x80040154)

But when I try to install it with PowerShell, I get the same error as yours indicating that UWPPair is missing.

Also my HD 7970 is recognized as R9 280 in device manager. Is that normal?

 

R9 280 and HD 7970 is a same gpu, only different naming scheme. That's normal

There's UWPPair on NimeZ root folder, try install it manually from inf by right click then install.

NimeZ Root Folder:


To confirm there's installed, check on "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository"


UWP or Classic is just same UI but different Installation location. While UWP placed on Windows Store Apps "WindowsApps", and Classic UI on "Program Files\AMD" folder

 

Thanks for the help, but it still reports that UWPPair is not found even when it's installed in right location (C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository folder). And I restarted PC to verify If issue exists.

what differrent between Rev 2.0 21.7.2 and Rev 2.0 21.Q2 ?
performance differrent ?

I was thinking about modding "AppX Manifest" by removing "dependencies requirements". I will try it asap.

NImeZ Rev 2.0 21.7.2, based on standard AMD Radeon Software 21.7.2.
NimeZ Rev 2.0 21.Q2, based on AMD Radeon Software Enterprise 21.Q2 with WDDM 3.0, Polaris/Vega/Navi only supported

If you have polaris/vega/navi card, the performance may different, especially for WDDM 3.0 version
