For DirectStorage which isn't out yet iirc will this require developers to implement it into their games or will existing games automatically leverage it? I think they said DS was coming to Win10 too though.
me, but i ´dont recommended this dev version for profesionals uses some instabilities etc but still fine for experiments its devs version and its ok for now
I read somewhere that just swapping the "isntall.wim" file would allow you to install 11 on a machine that does not meet requirements. So I ran off a 21H1 Win10 flash drive and just swapped the install.wim file from Win11. Did a clean install on one of the older desktops I have laying around the office. Older AMD box integrated graphics. I wanted an oddball config so it's 4x spinning rust drives in Raid 0. Only 8gb of ram. Install went without a hitch. This motherboard is legacy bios, no tpm, no secure boot obviously. I haven't had any problems with it as of yet. I really hate the fact the taskbar is "fixed". I know of the hack to move it to the top, but I want it on the left side, also my main box its left side of left monitor so bleh.

I'm using here, a latest beta build, 22000.100, installed since version 22000.51, I use the PC every day to play and work, I'll tell you that for me I consider it 100% stable for daily use, no problems.
Makes sense, I was hoping for some fluke silver bullet to fix all the asset streaming stutter in bad PC ports, ah well. Thanks!
I am 100% 46 PC Games played on Windows 11 4K HDR resolution so far to date. All work fine and only two games I had to change some Nvidia Control Panel setting to get working as it should. I played world of warcraft, final fantasy xiv, path of exile and battlefield 1. No fps difference, path of exile and ffxiv feels a bit smoother but like I said it could be placebo.
yes only problems with Right to Left alightment for hebrew and i updated friends computer with hebrew also and change 200% scaling to 300% and explorer start crashing in loop scacry stuff if you dont have usb with windows install media Did you clean install or upgrade? I always put task manager in task tray
So i installed it and noticed a couple of issues for now: - Selecting multi icons on desktop resulting in jerky and a bit laggy animation, wasn't present on Win10. -Boost clocks are lower than win10 , for example playing CNC3 will result in normal boost to 5.1 and 5.2 with the 5950X on win10 while on 11 it stuck on 3600 and sometimes jump to 4.8Ghz. Though other games do exhibit the same behaviour, the performance are the same or might be a tight smoother so i'm not sure if it's an afterburner glitch or the windows doesn't read it right.
