Using rx 580 with 21.7.1, with edge enabled gpu acceleration ( custom edge flags) playing 2K 60fps no problem

If I could guess I reckon that it could be something due the card lower power states as when is not in 3d GPU normally saving power and clock&memory are downclocked and undervolted so maybe when you watch videos its not rising clocks properly so not enough "juice" to work on higher res/60 fps....Question Can you start some 3d application and put a video in a same time see if this happened when card working on higher clocks?

P.S. But yeah sure normally this should not happened IF you didn't undervolt to much your card or maybe something is wrong with those exact drivers or possibly some other software issue...

I installed and tried again latest 21.7.1 and can confirm that are working fine for R9 Fury and are actually now also registered as 21.7.1 drivers no problems with UI like I did before I used also ccc2_fury_install.exe as dependecies for GCN.... and yeah I did DDU before the driver installation......

For now default startup is CCC. Maybe for next driver revision it will fixed.

I did DDU too, but apart from UI not starting there are noticeable hiccuups or stutters while playing valorant. So I did ddu again and checked with last available official driver and the stutters are gone.
I will try the GCN variant and check if the stutters are there.

Ok I did some more testing and I notice huge difference in DX12 Strange Brigade game/benchmark 21.7.1 seems a lot slower then previous 21.6.2 here are my scores on R9 Fury
    21.6.2 Driver=4k results 53Fps / 1440p result 80Fps Ultra Settings
    21.7.1 Driver=4k result 44Fps / 1440p result 69Fps Ultra Settings

Passmark 10 3d score was more or less the same around 10,800 points on both drivers but I also noticed certain hiccups on 21.7.1 when I played War Thunder last night.....so there is that...

It's seems affected me too, the gpu i use now (laptop 8790M and desktop RX 580) got lower performance in some synthetic benchmark compared to 21.6.1 and 21.6.2. I hope they "AMD" fixed it on next release.

Well not sure but seems like mostly DX12 is affected.....What benchmarks get you lower performance?
P:S:Anyway I rollback yours 21.6.2 drivers they seems to work perfectly fine.......

TimeSpy dx12. Tried 3 times and still producing same result, especially for gcn (hd 8790M) more impacted than polaris (RX 580).

The opposite for my GCN 8790M using dx11 benchmark 3DMark FireStrike, 21.7.1 has better score than 21.6.2.
Since Ported 21.7.1 use newer binaries from 21.Q2.1 enterprise edition build June 2021, and 21.6.2 using 21.Q1.2 build April 2021

if 21.Q2.1/21.5.2 caused this performance drops for next relase (21.8), i rather ported using more stable 21.Q1.2/21.3.2 version for basedriver

Hi, I'm having no luck with the installations of these drivers..

First I tried 21.6.2. After a DDU + AMD Cleanup utility, I ran .bat installation file till the end, the driver was not installed (I had to manually open Device Manager and install it on Display Adapters) then I got 1603 error on Adrenalin UI, but the .bat file had and option "Fix 1603 error" something like that... After that I've been running it with NO problems.

Yesterday I decided to test 21.7.1, DDU + AMD Cleanup utility, ran .bat installation file till the end and the same thing happened. At the end I had no driver installed (had to install it manually in Device Manager) BUT this time I always get 1603 error when trying to install Adrenalin UI..

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

Try select driver only after AMD radeon software displayed.

No good :( I don't have options to Drivers Only

    This is what I did:

    - DDU and AMD Cleanup Utility, then:
    - Run "NZSetup.bat" (D:\Programs\@_Drivers\GPU (AMD)\[Mod] NimeZ Radeon Software\21.7.1\NZSetup.bat)
    - Selected Option 1
    1.png

    After script runs, next Screen:
    2.png

    Then:
    2.png

    Then:
    4.png

After all done and no Radeon Software Installed:
    5.png

    EDIT: must be something with the PATH "D:\Programs\@_Drivers\GPU (AMD)\[Mod] NimeZ Radeon Software\21.7.1\NZSetup.bat"... maybe because of @ _ ( ) [ ]

put 21.7.1 folder on C:\21.7.1 and worked!
