Someone has finally fixed the Mass Effect 2 and 3 "remasters"... xD https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/393 https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/392
Have never seen this And a thought: would be cool to play a campaign as a squad on Earth fighting reaper forces while waiting for the Shepard with Crucible.
I started ME3 and witnessed the same old bug with stuck flying body of Kaidan/Ashley upon arriving to Citadel. Hilarious.
Yes but now you can't see Miranda's bottom in a cutscene.... that was the important thing that needed to be fixed. The future of video games is amazing.
On a more positive note, the Legendary Eddition now has modding tools, so ports of the bigger ME3 mods may be possible. https://www.moddb.com/mods/mehem-th...fect-legendary-edition-modding-tools-released
good news. hope some mods will also be worthy of making to ME2.. the second game is still in my book the best of the trilogy.
Well... we do have The Next Mass Effectâ„¢ to look forward too... so perhaps there is some hope left.
I did feel some Schadenfreude when it was decided that ME will not be coming back to the Andromeda setting.
im still on hold with the Leg edition. i prefer waiting for some mods, more fixes. yeah i purchased the damn thing but i won't install it anytime soon until more serious modding will be available. stuff like Project Variety and those instant resource&hack scanners for ME2. and of course Miranda's but(t).. most def an important mod.
Miranda's backdoor can already be restored: https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/393 https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/392
Interesting news, but I wouldn't be sure saying that because this remaster performed well, EA will now want to invest into more SP games. It could also just mean that they can just milk Mass Effect IP for a bit longer than they thought. As the guy in the video said, its a completely different team, that is making the new ME and they are the same people who made Andromeda, if I'm not mistaken. That doesn't really inspire competence. Although, if they manage to hire a good writer it can't really be a disaster. After all to me at least, ME was about the story, it was a nice novel put into a game, with added side stories and companions who had their problems and characters that made sense. Its a shame that it had poor ending, but overall trilogy was amazing. Although, I have to wonder how they will bring up a new enemy that would be as terrifying as reapers. E.g. Andromeda's enemies (ket, I think?), were very boring and sometimes cartoonishly evil. Despite Bioware trying to portray them as terrifying with the whole way how they change their captives, its just not comparable to unstoppable reapers who conquered galaxy in thousands of cycles and won every time. I just hope they won't make the same mistake they did with Andromeda and make you a brand new nobody who is for some reason entrusted with the fate of everyone else, despite having zero qualifications or experience.
What EA likes is easy money with low effort, so I guess it will be safe to assume there will be more re-releases of older games with texture mods.
Pretty sure Dead Space remake is remade from the ground up unlike Mass Effect which is in fact a simple remaster with quality of life improvements.
