Review: Colorful iGame GeForce RTX 3090 KUDAN - the 4999 USD graphics card

I posted pictures of the raw unpolished cooling plate of the KFA2 3090 but one thing I have to say, I don't know if they had good thermal conductivity but the pads were dark grey very sticky and soft, even being careful I destroyed a few trying to remove them because they looked more like thick paste than pads, which is a change from the 1080ti ones that were almost solid white pads that didn't deform as much
for the quality of the cooler (poor) the temps were pretty good I tought

 

I would suggest making a card in a good old style - some tribe elements + girl with curvy lines and big guns - that is something you want to see through your glass side window, not these fake ass cogs that do nothing.

Regarding the price, I could not agree more, and I have none of the intelligence and I still feel offended!

 

I only have one question:
Why?

 

Super over-engineered, not so much. Super over-priced, absolutely... Looks like something a 4-year-old would pull out of a toy chest... Just when you think you've seen everything...

 

Is there possibly a link and or a photo of something regarding the exact settings used in the benchmarks? I only ask because max settings aren't always just the click of the "High" preset.

Was there 4x SMAA used in Shadow of the Tomb Raider as well?

I personally am just trying to replicate the tests on my end. Easily found out that there wasn't ray tracing turned on just by the FPS hit from Ultra setting in Tomb Raider.

And @Hilbert Hagedoorn Great review as always. Just wanted to ask is there any possibility of getting some Ultra-Wide 5120x1440 benchmarks in the future?

I'd have bought one if they were like 2k or potentially even 2.5 maybe.... But I have my FTW3 Ultra on a Optimus WB that beats this card for less than half the cost including the block.

And I just got my 3080 Ti confirmation from EVGA for my Hydro Copper edition yesterday. Now I need to get rid of a 2080 Ti HC....

@Hilbert Hagedoorn Do we allow selling of hardware anywhere on here? I personally do not know enough crazies in the world (physically speaking) to sell to someone hand to hand.

 

To those wondering why.... Well it is just for bling bling for the same reason a prada plain white shirt will cost 100 bucks instead of 10.

Would love to have it, but I think I need some kind of MAJOR raise at work, or win the lottery.
Not really sure it worth it for the increased frame rate, but it looks awesome.
I think I would need to upgrade CPU first

If You want to test BFV (Any FrostBite engine game) without FPS cap:

Make file: User.CFG in BFV folder then add this two lines:
First is to show FPS (Don't need it? NP).
Second is a FPS Cap removal.

Perfoverlay.drawfps 1
GameTime.MaxVariableFps 999

Well my kingpin 3090 still faster than this, seems more a niche than performance product.

 

Yes the world is going mad. Talk about a KUDAN market share of 0001%. And then who really has this kind of money laying around? Let's get real and hold your breath for another 8-10 months or so for 'Best Buy' in making our dreams come true at MSRP.

 

Purely to milk the hell out of anyone with that sort of money before prices go down to lower levels. Would be a waste for them to make just 'normal' 3090s and sell them for less than that.
