I suppose that they have the same glue color inside, because Surface manufacturers thought that screws are so expensive that they used glue all over. Try to repair it, and you'll 100% fail to open it without ripping it apart.
The Surface are great devices. They got a lot of the tablet to PC mix right. It has finally caught up to my current 8 year old desktop PC in terms of raw power... lol. Still, for the form factor, it is a good balance running off batteries. Hope the quality is better though because I hear horror stories about reliability. Maybe I will look into a Lenovo "Thinkpad" version if the build quality is still there.
