Lol yes that was with the stock Michelin sport tires, not very usable as you can see. Still a load of fun. Easy to get in trouble
Nothing in this thread since 2020 I'm disappointed. Well I'll give it a bump. Placed an order for this bad boy...killing me waiting for it to arrive. I've gone PLAID!
It has arrived and it's literally insane...it's dirty but there she is...highway and rain driving didn't help.
Ten years old but new to me this week, a sensible C180, stopped for a photo on the way home after buying it
Looks in great condition, love that its an estate, i think they are way better looking than the saloon.
You will get that with a Mercedes, the guy i work for has a new S Class, that is so comfortable that it almost feels like you can drive it with your mind.
Added carbon ceramics brakes to the Plaid as braking is one of the car's few weakness in stock form. Rears being shipped fronts are installed.
Forgot about this thread. Don't I remember hearing those carbon ceramics are originally for a ferarri or something? That's pretty neat. I picked up a new to me daily over the winter (2019 Mazda 3). Huuuge upgrade over my gen 3 subaru legacy.
Yeah carbon ceramic overkill but the factory brakes are awful. Carbon helps in weight savings. It's like half the weight at each wheel. Less rotational mass.
I always wanted to get around like tony stark. Like some other guys not so smart. But they came up with this Stark beater.
Had my Leon Cupra now for five years and still love the car but she has become a bit of an unloved work horse. Example This is the state of the alloys on the car. I'll admit the first day I had the car I kerbed one of the wheels and just stopped caring about them ever since and that image is the result. The car is otherwise spotless so enough is enough. £45 quid a wheel and a day and a half later All four wheels are like new. I lost the diamond cut effect as the wheels couldn't be cut any further but boy has it made a massive difference. I opted to stick with the original colour as it suits the car perfectly.
I figured this car is worthy of a thread bump. I just picked up one of my dream car setups! Sad to trade out my Audi R8 V10 Plus but you only live once and this car sort of fell into my hands. Still have to get tint on it as I'm like a fishbowl driving around in this thing but I just picked up a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. 12 cylinders of audio nirvana once she spins past 5,000 rpms.
