DX12 mode?

 

Trying to be a little more positive, this version gave me excellent performance and benchmark numbers, no issue on game play, better results than before and even better than Guru3D's, who have tested those games with better CPU and memory. (but also don't forget 21.6.1 also broke the DVI connection of my GPU, but it still works fine on previous Drivers)

My PC: i7-4790k (CPU x44 Cache x42), ASUS's Vega 64 (Stock), 4x 4 GB DDR3 1866, Benq XL2430T (1080p, no FreeSync, DisplayPort since It is now mandatory)

• Time Spy: Graphic 7,593 CPU 4,753 Total 6,968
• Metro Exodus: 63.44 FPS
• Borderlands 3: 75.21 FPS (and I'm under the impression there is less frame time spikes)
• Strange Brigade: 152.3 FPS
  
• Middle-earth: Shadow of War: 71.84 FPS (with textures DLC)

 

Yup, IMhO it's fastest to date (Gaming oriented).
Not Tested 3Dmark in ages (I wonder if i can hit this magical 30k mark? )
Maby i will, but so much gaming with XboX Game Pass

I install 21.5.2 and 0 issues. No green screen and crash in games.

 

is there any other way of signing the polaris bios or editing the radeon software to start working other than pixel clock patcher at the moment? i have a bios edited rx 480 and 21.6.1 and onwards arent working with pixel clock patcher anymore

This release works very well for me. I used minimal install. I've got RX550 graphics card on older MB Z77 chipset.
