You do realise this release has had many changes and fixes from the previous leaked build we had a few weeks ago. Here is a video showing the changes. So yea, there is always a chance it will change. If you don't like it you have Win 10 until 2024/25
I had the Defender not working every time. I think I dismissed the option it wanted to run and now it works every time
I don't see any features back from those they crippled. I don't care where they moved the squares or groove or in the MS store at all. I am talking about the operating system, not the aesthetic of pre-installed spam. I want move the taskbar and have a menu that is not a huge junk of pinned stuff (which is the work of the taskbar) or more spam from the useless web sites of the world.
Because we all know this Windows 11 release is ready for the public and totally not some leaked ISO with an infinity of compatibility and stability issues... Yeah, bet you are tired of an issue that hasn't even been looked at by MS in any sort of official way.
Tiles were great. Pinned apps with scroll (wtf?) and a list of all apps hidden under a button click are not.
ok, i has come with more information on why the CPU requirements are so high... https://www.techrepublic.com/articl...ystem-requirements-and-the-security-benefits/
That is bullshit. CFG already in W10 and is not causing issues even on Athlon64 s939 CPUs. The codebase of 11 is the same as 10. HW requirements are meant only for us to spend money on new PCs.
Has anyone figured out how to unlock the taskbar? I want to center my icons but leave the start button in the left corner.
Erm. We're on Dev build now not a leaked ISO ? Or are you just here to troll by the saying the exact same thing kissshot said ?
I was not trolling when I asked that. I was genuinely asking if it had been confirmed as beta... which it turns out it was not, just early dev build, which is still currently the case. Maybe change the name of the thread to Dev Built instead of Beta to clear up any confusion for others seeing this thread in the future.
I was not saying you were trolling when you asked that. I find it odd when people like a comment only to repeat it in other words.. Its like they like to pile it on if they're not trolling. Like I said I already went back to 10 at the time.
I am telling you I was not, you can ignore that if you wish, this conversation will not be continued.
So my safe boot is enabled in BIOS but says unsupported in windows. What gives? Apparently I need to convert my disk to another format, but how? I can't as I already have windows 10 on it. So can anyone assist me please? Really eager to try windows 11.
safeboot doesn't exist. the feature you're talking about is secure boot. look up the various search results for MBR2GPT.
