So far any driver results in blank screen with 10bit pixel format enabled in Windows 11, just a heads up.

My Windows 10 build 21390.2025 has been updated to Win 11 build 22000.51!

There is the same AMD driver (30.0.13000.17006) but with a new version of Radeon Settings app (10.21.30011.0):

    radeon.jpg

No HAGS (supported by the driver but not by Windows).

Man... those drivers is a night and day difference compared to AMD'S website that offers.

Performance is much better and power consumption is just amazing! This UWP/DCH based drivers are just awesome

Thank you for providing updates. I use it on my laptop (ASUS TUF A15 [4800H/1660ti]).

Guys, im gonna install win11 inside preview tomorrow.

Between AMD official drivers (21.6.2 in this case) or this drivers what will be the best option?

    I have a 5700xt.

I never tried this kinda of drivers but i can give it a try.

Windows Update should download the latest UWP driver available. So, let it do its thing.

  11. Install W11, toggle the Insider option to Dev (if you want the latest OS updates and preview drivers), and let Windows Update handle the AMD GPU driver. Currently, WU should download the same version that's available in this thread.

Nice, this version fixed an issue I had where it wouldn't save my OC settings upon startup and I had to manually apply my OC settings through a saved profile. Now it works every time, I rebooted like 3 times in a row to triple check and it applies perfectly now :D

These drivers also further improved Win 11 performance for me, 21.6.1/2 both already had excellent performance on Win 11 but this driver takes it even further. Getting higher fps in Days Gone, BL3, Horizon ZD, and around 300-400 more points in 3D Mark Timespy as well :D

They are different, I was talking about two different things in my post. The new radeon software which fixed an issue for me with my OC on startup. And then I spoke about how the driver it self (v30.0.13000.17006) is better for me than the current official 21.6.2 driver. Either that or my previous driver install was borked.

Testing out Windows 11 atm, and no HAGS is not enabled as it's not present yet in Win 11.

I have insider version of win11 on Dev Channel.

    Why this happens?
    Thanks

That old driver is under optional updates just leave it, windows should not install it on its own

EDIT* oh i see it, its promoting it as new driver, however i think it the latest wddm 2.7 driver
