My bios and Boot screen are blank with my 3080ti and my LG27gl83a monitor connected via Display Port.

It loads into windows fine after i install drivers.
If i switch to my old 1080p monitor everythinfs works and i can see my bios and boot screens.

I have used DDU 3 times and reseated the card.

If i uninstall the drivers i get a blank screen on Windows AND my bios screen. I have to switch to my old monitor and i everything works again. If i switch to my lg27gl83a monitor while in windows while the drivers are uninstalled everything is huge and device manager says "microsoft generic display adapter" with a yellow mark next to it.

How do i get my Bios and boot screen to show up while using my new monitor?

disable freesync/adaptive refresh on the display.

Figured something out. Everything works fine if connected to HDMI. I even tried a brand new dp cable that came with the monitor and it doesnnot work

So something is going on with my DP even tho it works on my old monitor fine

Are you using an AMD mainboard/cpu?

The connecting factor between your experience and others i've seen is having an MSI motherboard.

Yes i saw that thread. I tried updating the videocard but its only for 10 series i think.

Anyway its fixed now. As soon as i turn fast boot back on it acts up.

it could be an issue in the ampere / turing gop, since i've seen 20 series cards in that thread, and they have no gop update available.

the version your card has is currently the latest there is.

Will to bet if you turn on Fastboot "fast" it will out put to DP monitor but if you turn Fastboot "ultra" it will output to HDMI and not the DP, this seem to be issue that only happen if you have HDMI connection to TV or some other device where HDMI has highest priority? more maybe it issue with GPU not have update Bios?

As i have similar issue, MAybe my bios on my evga 1070ti Black dont have this gop? but bios i have is latest i could find for my card 86.04.85.00.70

this was one first thing i noticed when I got this card.
Fast boot "ultra" and or Disabling fast boot and disabling CSM manual all out put bios/post to my HDMI connection and not my DVI
