I don't know what's going on with said process, but i simply cannot stop it.
What's the reason for it and is it possible to somehow stop it?

the 2 processes in my case, that are constantly bombarding my drive are registy and system(system is understandable, but not the registry one)

Just trying to understand how things work and i'd appreciate if you can help me out.

Not to stop, but to monitor what is written to disk or registry, and by which process (or by specific process). It is a monitoring tool.

procmon installs a kernel driver that leaves traces behind, a reboot is required to remove these traces.

battleeye and similar protection drivers will fail so long as these traces are present.
