I bought an ASUS GA401IV-BR9N6 laptop and I realized a few days later it'd been upgraded by the OEM for the GA401QM-211.ZG14. So I bought that one too. Any known good method for benchmarking laptops so I can get a good comparison out of the two? Unless you have a really great alternative better than the GA401QM-211.ZG14 please stick to the topic I'm trying to compare the two so as to see if there's such a difference between the two. Considering sticking one of these into it "ASX8100NP-4TT-C" EDIT: I'm thinking of returning this GA401QM-211.ZG14 now (3/24/12 10:24 MST)...
Run 3dmark on them both should be pretty clear cut. Maybe cinebench if you really wanna see the differences in the cpu on single/multi-core tasks. The GA401QM-211.ZG14 does have a better refresh rate, 144hz instead of 120hz. Couldn't find what NVME drives are in both of them but I did just a quick google search so crystaldiskmark on both of them but I guess you're switching storage anyway.

Their gaming performance is pretty similar - about 5% up or down so you can concentrate on other specs.
Do you or anyone here know if the rtx 2080 super max-q is better than the rtx 3070 max-q or the other way around?
As rtx 2080 super max-q equals about rtx 3060 it will lose to 3070. But it's quite hard to get information about 3.xxx models TDP - there can be a wide variation as max-q denomination isn't used any more.

Didn't go Razer. Gave the OMEN a shot and glad I did. It works really well, I'm really surprised with how well HP did. So I'm using this now as a gaming desktop replacement after parting out my entire gaming rig. Final conclusion, thoughts: after testing the RZ09-0369BEA2-R3U1 (and upgrading it to 32GB / 8TB of RAID (x2 NVMe) - plus repasting it with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. All I can say is, the current generation 2021 Razer Blade RTX 3xxx laptops are an absolute failure. They are loud, hot (as in will hurt to touch), and are heavy to carry around. That's the base model mind you. Not that it should get any worse or better moving up. It seems surprising but that HP is producing the best one at present for a variety of reasons (excluding the Ryzen variant, I'd go Intel) they've also just introduced a QHD Gsync panel if ordered from their website. It is quiet, cool to the touch, the fans aren't annoying to be around when they operate (bigger mm) nor is there this unusual system lag I noticed on the Razer - time to time the Razer will actually "freeze" for a few half seconds or so between commands as if something is hindering it. I am not interested in investigating what after dropping a few grand. I'm just dropping it off at my local UPS asap and saying "sayonara"
The last Intel laptop I had was an I7, Nvidia onboard. I had loads of issues with the GPU getting too hot and burning out. While still under warranty I had it repaired 3 times.
