Is that a NEW Duke Nukem REMAKE I see?!

Many game careers were launched by these guys!

That was not Duke Nukem. :)
Looked like Dangerous Dave in one clip, and Monster Bash in another. Along with some others.

Duke Nukem, including ALL titles... from Duke 1 all the way up to DNF are owned by Gearbox. Not saying it isn't possible, have no idea what Apogee have planned. But, I didn't see anything Duke in that clip.

Also, Apogee LLC has been around since 2008.
This is the same company that published the 2013 remake of Rise of the Triad. And more recently, the HD remaster of Crystal Caves.
They are rebranding themselves as Apogee Entertainment.

Didn't the "original" Apogee become 3D Realms in the later 90s?

Clearly this outfit has determined that in the current "no GPU for you" predicament we find ourselves in, (which anonymous sources say will last until Q3 of 2032), it's the right time to go large with 2D side-scrollers for your IGPU. Perfect.

Apogee LTD, the original Apogee, created 3D Realms back in the 90s. The original plan was that Apogee would have different branches of the company for different styles of games.
3DR was to be the house for all action games. Like Duke3D, Shadow Warrior and Prey.

Eventually, Apogee LTD turned into 3DR all together.

In 2008, a few people were granted rights to the Apogee name and they became Apogee LLC.
They were the publisher behind the Rise of the Triad 2013 remake.
Yesterday's announcement is that Apogee LLC are rebranding themselves to Apogee Entertainment. Moving to a full publishing studio for indie titles or various genres.

Rise of the Triad was loads of fun. It even had multiplayer.

Could be fun, but only if you need a new joypad that plugs into the serial port of your pc, just for authenticity. Lol

Or a game port on your old Sound Blaster.

When that logo came across the screen I was immediately transported back to 1994. Visions of Wing Commander and Terminal Velocity.

I like Apogee obviously, but if I saw the same thing happen with Westwood Studios (I.E. the 'actual' studio, same original full team; making an actual come back on their own) I'd probably fall unconscious on the spot.

Not to crap on this parade and personal preference and all that, but do we really need another zombie game?

    The rest looked great though.
