Here is what I did to fix it for now.
-Right click on the horn icon on the lower right corner of your screen
    -Select Open Sound Settings
-Select Sound Control Panel (if there is faster way of getting to Sound Control Panel let me know)
    -Locate your Speakers source
    -Click on Configure button
    -Select Stereo
-Click Next and follow the instructions

By doing this you should regain the ability of recording without selecting separate mic track nor Audio Channels from Auto to Stereo.
By setting windows audio to stereo I use my sound card to do 7.1 for me instead. Seems to work just fine.

Now if you have a actual 5.1 setup I feel for. No fix for that other then force stereo in windows and try to get the audio card to do it instead.

    Hope that helps.

My workaround is just to enable "Separate Microphone Track". :)

I just wonder how many months (years) AMD needs to fix this issue.

Adrenalin 21.4.1 fixes the issue! :)

Does it still work after a reboot?

Yes, I just checked it again to be sure. It works fine on 1809 and 21359.1 builds.

The only odd thing here is Desktop recordings are saved under a subfolder named unknown!
It seems games are saved in their own folders (names) which is different to the old driver.
