I've got the GIGABYTE RTX 3080 Turbo Edition. In any software I can get the cooling RPMs to 3000 - which is 100% according to the software. My issue is that sometimes the card goes to over 5000 rpms and I can't get the rpms down. The temperatures are good - 70-80 with 100% gpu usage. (88C mem, 72C Hot Spot). Voltage on the 8PINs are 11.7-11.9. This sometimes happens even when I just start the computer. The fan starts spinning and does not stop. The BIOS is the latest F21. HELP
Yes and it does not work. Same for MSI afterburner. The gpu is loud from the start of the computer so it's clearly a hardware issue. CPU: i9 11900F
Anyone on their 3080 TUF OC ed noticing something similar to this? https://i.imgur.com/XfffgzR.png its 2 quick frametime spikes but it looks like a 40-50ms single spike in msi hardware monitor.It happens maybe once every 10-15 mins always the same pattern.My old 1080ti didn't have this.So far I've noticed it in Apex legends and vermintide 2 at the same rate of accurance. Oh and ingeneral occasional random 15-20ms spikes. Thinking of going back to my old 1080ti after trying so much stuff trying to figure it out as it had better frametime overall. Update:Hmm both games use Easy anti cheat....I wonder if it's the main cause.
NVIDIA DLSS Ultra Quality Redditor spots a new DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) mode. The new “Ultra Quality” mode is listed as a placeholder in the UE5 documention. According to the footnotes, it should not be visible to end-users, which implies that the mode is still under development. The best settings currently available in DLSS supported titles is “Quality” mode which renders the game at 66.6% of native resolution (or in other words it upscales the resolution 1.5x times). Furthermore, it was discovered that a new version of DLSS is already present in the UE5 engine. Currently, the latest version available in games such as Rainbow Six Siege or Lego Builder’s Journey is DLSS 2.2.6.0. This version has been successfully imported into other games and has been confirmed to provide a better experience by reducing some unwanted artificats. In most cases, it is really as simple as replacing a single DLSS file in the game directory. Does anyone has Galax 3080 OC edition? i want to try another bios to upper the power limits but i'm not sure if the card will boot or not(don't have spare card atm).
asus 3080ti TUF (stock) , is this normal behaviour ? fans on auto @100% ?? (is not that loud). but the thing is running pretty hot. the below Screenshot was captured during +-1hr of red dead redemption 1440p max everything.
@GlowingPotato Learn of the benefits of undervolting, check out some youtubes on it. Less heat, less power usage, same clocks.
Imo that is too high considering the fans are at 100%, but if you are living in a hot place(summer) is fine, you should try some uv if you can and the game allow it.
