I wonder if Inspector will get updated for this. It would be nice to be able to set this per game. Nvidia is usually slow, and they won't test every game on Earth, sometimes they don't even keep up with GamePass games. Ideally it will be another Control Panel option. This is a very good catch. So whatever it is that gets flashed, it's not exactly the bios.
i'm not sure, but i doubt it, it was never made to work the way nvcp does, in that, AF for instance you have to set 2 fields to achieve the same behavior as nvcp setting AF from application default to anything else (same with Transparency AA, nvcp exposes one field, profile inspector requires 2 set)
I'm sorry but I looked and couldn't find the chat. You will have to ask there yourself. It was buildzoid talking about it with someone else. I spent 15 minutes looking, I think that's enough of my time, I tried.
So it looks like every mobo board partner has updated their z390's to support ReBar except for Asus. Pretty disappointed.
Anyone else with problem updating BIOS with reBAR for Gainward RTX 3090 Phantom ? Update fails with message: No need to update your VGA BIOS! (or not support for your VGA card)
Same problem with my Asus EKWB. I've made a post here https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/migjfz/3090_ekwb_no_rbar_support/ Most probably the ROM update is not included in the package like me.
To be honest with you, it would make sense for Nvidia to expose it as a tweakable setting in the control panel. Other, much more performance harming features are on, and I don't trust waiting for them for titles I would much more prefer to just check by myself.
Is anyone with an FE getting increases in temps either at idle or load? Im running in a tiny itx case and can’t really afford to flash if it’s going to tip it up too high (especially with summer around the corner!).
here waiting ~12 month for prices coming significantly down why should I pay for 2 cards just to cover the warranty?
The point is: The gpu prizes "never" goes down, they go EOL. End Of Life. For the last 4 generation gpu's, buying day 1 has been the cheapest. If you are waiting, you waited too long. You lost...
Hello. Does anyone have RTX 3090 Palit GamingPro? If so what are your temperatures for GPU and VRAM section? Thanks in advance.
Hi there I have two Palit RTX 3090 GamingPro's but they're running under water and temperatures are in 36-38°C in gaming and benchmarks and in rendering are in 32-33 °C with VRAM temperatures on top won't break 60°C in gaming or rendering and second one Palit RTX 3090 GamingPro VRAM temperatures are in 72-76°C as max(I will need to repad that GPU with Thermalright Odyssey pads or Gelid Extreme 1.5mm pads) Both of Palit RTX 3090 GamingPro's are running KPE XOC 1000W BIOS capped at 65-75% for gaming and for rendering I capped at 55-65% With stock cooler I have tried only few renders to do and few benchmarks and temperatures have been in 60-70°C on core and VRAM temperatures in 80-90°C with 875MHz OC on VRAM Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
On my 3090 Founders, I replaced the stock thermal pads and added more thermal pads on back side of card and it dropped my memory temps 24c. Crazy I was hitting around 92-96 on memory in BFV and other games and after the new thermal pads I am hitting around 70-72 on memory. Worth swapping out the pads for sure. I used 1.5m Thermalright Thermal Pad 12.8 W/mK.
