Thanks for the reply. I tried that version and it is giving the same error. I've downloaded the profile inspector in a few versions from multiple sources and they all give the same error. I'm wondering if I should try reinstalling my nvidia drivers or uninstalling geforce experience.

Is it possible to apply memory clock higher than range by default (+1000MHz) with nvidia inspector? Need to set memory clock to 10300MHz(+1150MHz). Tried to set it with parameters "-setMemoryClock:0,0,10300" and "-setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,1150" in bat file. But only 10000MHz(+1000MHz) was applied.

its not a bug introduced in anything, either the users drs folder has read only set on all subfiles or the security permissions are borked.

That could very well be true, but also keep in mind that an unhandled exception is always a bug.

It could be Bit-defenders ransomware protection blocking write access. What is the DRS folder? Is the DRS folder situated in User/AppData? can you give me the file path please? ill add an exception

p.s the only one i could find was "C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Virtualized\C\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation" is this the right one?

***UPDATED*** adding the NvidiaInspector to Exeption list in BitDefender has worked******
Normally I would get a notification that it had been blocked in the past, with this I didnt.

Thank you for your help everyone

Well this is weird. After years of it working correctly, Vsync settings don't seem to apply when setting them in inspector no matter what I do. Haven't changed anything recently. Very weird.

Specifically 1/2 refresh Vsync. Forcing Vsync ON/Off seems to work fine. But not 1/2. I've tried it on several games I know I have had it work with before. And I swear I had it working fine a few weeks ago. Rolling back one version doesn't seem to change anything.

Weird, I don't know if resetting the driver(Resetting the PC didn't do anything), changing the permissions on the .exe (There were a few users that didn't have full permissions?) or setting my shortcut to run as admin fixed it. (Which I thought it always did anyway)Now it works.

Not sure if this has been asked before, but will/can there be settings for Vulkan as there are for DX and OGL?

    hy Guru´s

i just came across this site here:
It seems fishy to me that it says: OFFICIAL SITE.
Since i know Orbmu2k and i know he has his own Blog, i KNOW this is not his Site nor is it anything OFFICIAL...

    Screen:

Also, there is NO 3.5.0.0 Version!! (ok, there is, but its an FORK of Orbmu2k´s work and seems to be optimized for "MINING"...)

Latest NvidiaProfileInspector, as far i know, is: 2.3.0.2
Latest NvidiaInspector (Beta) is: 1.9.7.9 (can be found on the last 3 Pages of the 3dcenter Forum link..)

    And the Real Sources are:

    NvidiaInspector:
    https://orbmu2k.de
    https://www.forum-3dcenter.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=482122
Of course, Guru3d and other Tech Sites.

    N..ProfileInspector:
    https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector
    Guru3d and other Tech Sites.

There was also an Git on Appvoyer or what it was called but i think this on is abandoned... Not shure..

So i guess i just wanna say a Warning to not Download from that site, you can never be shure if someone changed the application.
I also could be wrong, but to me it seems very fishy, also i browsed teh comments and it looked off to me the way teh "Admin" was answering there..
Just stay away form it, better safe then sorry..

    Best Regards..

    EDIT:

I downloaded the versions from that site..
Nvidiainspector seems to be the same. STill, get it form trusted sources...

Anyway, the NvidiaProfileInspector (named 3.5.0.0) is changed..
modified by someone named DeadManWalkingTO-Github, that is what it says when looking at the file via some tools and Virustotal, etc..

Ok, its an Fork of ProfileInspector and seems legit from what i can tell..
    https://github.com/DeadManWalkingTO/NVidiaProfileInspectorDmW

It looks like an optimized version for "mining"???
Aaaaaanyway.. i thought i point that out if any questions arise..

    Please discuss....

Nvidia inspector (Not the profile) needs a update.
It's not reading the clock speeds or memory settings correctly.
On the info window it sees all but memory is unknown.

My display card is msi rtx 2070 Armor.

I have tried reporting this but no-one seems to be bothered, yet was a great app, and can't see why it's has not been updated so hoping it could be, or is this app now dead?

GPU-Z and Gpu caps viewer do what nvidia inspector does and more.

You can't run batch commands to overclock in gpu-z or gpu caps viewer

Can't find entry: "Frame Rate Limiter Mode". There is only this: "Frame Rate Limiter V3"!!! Anyone knows where it is? It is not even at the bottom!
