    The download package for Windows 7 is again "Non 7z archive.". Not possible to install.
    Gurus at Nvidia developer site, please fix that.

    aehm or rather fix missing win 8.1 package or UNDERLINE which one (7 or 10) must be installed for 8.1 users [screw w10.............................................well :oops: 8.1 is running on a spare hdd for retrogaming:p]

    * In my Windows 7 system this driver seems to be problematic. Installer offers no option to reboot in the end (that's okay) and resolution is "VGA" at that point. A reboot makes my main monitor remain in standby. Windows desktop then only in my secondary monitor... Nvidia Inspector shows nothing but empty information. Performing a re-install and reboot didn't help. Going back to 457.91 fixed everything.

      • Fixed a memory fault when using some smaller dimensions of sparse images
      • Fixed an issue where vkCreate{Graphics,Compute}Pipeline would sometimes crash when the shaders contained resources with no set/binding
      • Fixed corruption that sometimes occured with shadow rendering with image arrays
      • Fixed a bug with the host-visible device-local memory heap, where if an allocation failed due to space constraints, it could cause the application to crash on future Vulkan function calls
      • Fixed a potential crash when clearing images with multiple layers
      • Fixed a bug where using ray tracing extensions on multi-GPU setups could result in application instability if the GPUs did not match [Linux]
      • Fixed a bug where vkCreateSwapchain could cause the X Server to crash when an invalid imageFormat was provided [Linux]

    same branch as old one, crashes the same way and performance is marginally lower

    Can anyone elaborate if these are like standalone versions of nv drivers made specifically for vulkan based app\games and for example latest 466.11 possibly doesn't include some fixes and whatnot that are in that last April 13th, 2021 - Windows 458.17 driver?
    Or these are like just for developers working under vulkan api?
