such way of doing thing is bound to make inconstancy across the board.Honestly they should just make the whole game I much rather they just release it all on ps4 as DLC but it will probably other 6 years before it all done.

 

GoW is on 3 different generations. Uncharted is on 2 (3 if you include vita). If you could not see the limitations the devs were working around in this game and want to hobble them with the PS4's weak hardware I don't know what you are thinking. Please just go play the old game.

 

god of war is 3 diffrent games in the series, they split ff7 which is ONE game in to 3 games there difference.

Considering how long it was taking, I think they should have waited and released Episode One, after they had finished Episode 2. Then spread those releases out, a year between, and that give time for Episode 3, 2 years later. So essentially, it would be a new part for the next 3 years.

I saw next-gen coming before this was even released. Whatever they can do to buy time, and milk the episode for lost development time and costs, they will do.

So they'll release this again next year for Xbox, PC and maybe even a watered down switch version. Then they'll release it again on Xbox series X and PS5 as some sort of "Remastered" version. Lol...Remastered Remake. Then they'll release EP2. 2023. Somewhat annoying. but at least it's finally being made. I still think the last hour of EP1 sucked hard. But the rest was fun.

The kind shitty that Content exlusive to ps5 dont come with free upgrade, consider the prices of Special and collector editons of the game on ps4. Hope SQE just give the upgrade with content but they wont

I tried it on a buddies PS4 Pro and it has hands down some of the best color grading I've ever seen in a game.

Waiting on the whole thing to be complete and available on PC before jumping into this though. Looks amazing.

 

So the PS5 upgrade is free, but only for people that bought it and not for the PS+ version .. interesting ..

70$, but for that 70 you get "extra" yuffie content.. PS4 get upgrade free but no yuffie content. Watch SQE charge some stupid price for content, it should be included in the upgrade for those that bought the game aready

70$ is new norm for ps5 games and that is price for physical and digital which even more outrages Digtial should be less seeing it dont involve the use a bluray disc. I wont be buy ps5 game news, I was barely buy ps4 game new when they were 60$ now I will just wait for sales

There 3 game the entire ps4 gen I bought new upon release, That was Nioh/Nioh2 and FF7R

 

Seems cheaper to buy the PS4 version and get the free upgrade than buy the very pricey PS5 version.

 

it will probably be cheaper to get ps4 verison and pay 19$ they will try and charge for yuffie content. less they try to charge some ridiculous price for which i wouldnt put past them, FF7R is setup to be 3 parts so that say combined all sales from all 3 parts and say it sold better then any other game they made

 

If I claim the free version now, can I buy the PS4 version later and then get the free PS5 upgrade for the PS4 version?

 

psn free verison is not eligble for updates but disc and bought copies are elgible for upgrade
