Radeon RX 6700 (XT) Graphics Cards get a Launch Date

Is it me or is the launch date not in the article?

Don't laugh if it is me, I have downloaded to much artistic imagery over the years ...

 

Ok I've seen it ! I had to read it 3 times. No wonder I never won anything in the 2019 Christmas Guru 3d giveaway !!!!

So they are stretching their already poor availability even thinner. At this rate, we'll be lucky if current gen GPUs are available when next gen GPUs come out.

 

Seems like it will be a good card, between 3060ti and 3070 but who really cares this days when its probably gonna costs 900$.

 

Maybe manufacturers will still send Guru3D review samples, even though no gamer is going to see the card, with all of them being shipped straight to miners.

 

releasing a product sure loses its excitement when you know you can't buy it. Might as well be a Bugatti Veyron.

 

So it mean that again everything will be for mining... am i right?

 

The veyron is the outdated version... It's the Chiron (3,5m Euro without personalisation)

 

Cant say i'm interested in buying this card but i do really want to see how this compares to the 5700x with its cut down bus.

 

It will have infinity cache onboard.

I'll maybe look at getting one next year when the prices normalise...... Is that a pig I saw flying past my window

 

I should have mentioned thats part of why I really want to see how it makes up the difference. I will want to see them at same clock's because rumors have this 6700xt clocking much higher than the 5700xt as well.

 

Let's hope that by 3/18 the other GPU shortages will be alleviated to coincide!

I don't really think I will be interested in a 192-bit bus or smaller. we shall see.

 

Don't worry...we won't be able to buy those either.

 

Until about 6 weeks ago there were scalpers, now it's crypto miners. Some people always find something to complain about.

Poor availability and no word from AMD about countermeasures against mining.
If you can't produce more cards at least copy Nvidia and do a BIOS/Driver level ban on mining.
