You are in a Dev Driver Thread...

I sorted it but it made no difference anyway as its for the development build only for the moment, winzip was the issue needed the newer version

So now here is the problem...manufacturers know that this new tech is coming out (possibly with WDDM 3.0's API). What we may never get....a BIOS update to support this feature. That area is the hot mess. What you need to know:

Check your motherboards for 64-bit I/O mapping support (in regards to Resizable BAR). There should be a feature named, Above 4G Decoding

This was exclusively for NVIDIA Tesla GPU's because they are headerless and is used for virtual machines. Now to be used with the Resizable BAR without explaining anything to the gaming community is torture. If you don't have this feature in UEFI/BIOS and those stubborn manufacturers decide to not implement it, then you must buy a supported motherboard.

I also noticed that in some newer MSI motherboard manuals, they implemented DirectStorage I/O by hardware. Just add the NMe device, install their chipset drivers and turn it on by BIOS.

nvidia only wants performance feedback on Game ready or studiodrivers, they aren't focused on how WSL preview drivers perform presently.

Same benchmark so far , but if you jump to a new CPU, like I did , 2 for 1 deal for me , my 5950X elevated my 1080Ti .
    added 5800X as well.

When you say 'mesh shader performance is bad', what are we talking about in real world performance? I'm looking at that screen grab and not seeing any comparative info. So far 465.42 have been flawless for me, is it worth jumping to the new build?

So i got this laptop a couple of days ago with a RTX 3070 200w TDP and i got WDDM 3.0 Enabled. However with the 465.42 drivers i cant adjust the screen brightness in optimus off mode :(
Gonna try these 465.51 drivers and see if they fix anything.
