The flicker issue is in the known issues although I hadn't linked it to Overdrive but rather the ongoing VA panel flickering users are also experiencing though part of it could be related to Wattman if that functionality is enabled.

EDIT: Ah I see after re-reading the driver notes that the 21.1.1 known issues listing expanded on this a bit more there's a few separate entries in fact around display flicker. :)
And Afterburner is also mentioned from back in the 20.11.3 drivers it seems is where this entry got added but the same issue is also listed as fixed going further back in the 20.9.2 drivers but might have come back or it's a separate issue entirely now.

Then there's the FreeSync flickering under borderless full-screen mode and a entry specifically for Vega GPU's and flickering with dual displays and higher refresh rates.
Actually maybe neither of those are for the VA panel flickering though it could be linked to FreeSync or VRR.

All doctors are not the same, so, you should treat that physician for what is his/her worth, not as all doctors that love their patients over money.

I humbly disagree. That is one of the problems with today's consumers getting faulty products over quality products. We have treated devs/pubs, tech companies, etc. people as idols/celebrities and what do the consumer gets from our dedication / support in MOST cases? Faulty, bugs, game-breaking / issues, CTD and so much more undesirable experiences and a big "if you don't like it, don't buy it" arrogant remark from these clowns.

All issues should take PRIORITY if it's their product and if they care about their customers and its brand name because if they are not selling that product what do you think they expect with every dollar they spend from their purchase?

So, be your own person as you used your OWN CURRENCY when you bought into their nonsense.

You can't expect change by staying silent or TOLERANT!

I've finished Ori long time ago, i think on 20.8 or 20.9 drivers.
    Performance was OK

    Note:
    For users of OverdriveN Tool
Some games don't 'see' OC by this tool
You'll need to OC by Wattman (in game profile: Tune Game Perfomance)
BFV, BF1, Forza H4 are those games.

    This is AMD not Nvidia

Nvidia kills perf on older cards

    AMD makes them better ;)

580 works fine with this driver. Didnt notice any issues but performance is about the same.

After killing process radeonsettings.exe or just restart pc (doesn't matter), my few settings are unfavorite and in all games settings, graphics profile is empty. AMD is completely trash. Where is Shader cache option to disable this? Why people not report to restore this setting?

So this is considered a beta driver, when do the whql drivers normally come?

Not beta drivers .. just MS unsigned drivers which cost money each time you want WHQL

there is no cost at all to whql sign a driver since the system is all automated on the whql dev portal.

only to buy certificates for co signing.

General rule of thumb -- if everything that you want to play works great with what you have, then upgrading is usually not worth it.
As the saying goes: "If it ain't broken, don't fix it"

If some game or application has issues on 20.4.2, or some other feature isn't working quite right, then by all means go ahead and upgrade. Or ... if you're a driver junkie and like running in to bugs (as most of us here do -- COUGH), go ahead too of course. Anyway, always make an assessment if you're willing to troubleshoot new problems and if that's worth any possible performance.

On the older Polaris cards, so far I'm hearing "not worth it". {from friends that're just playing around with the new ones} -- About in-line with Undying's experience above.

His point: this is the amd forums.
It doesn't matter what the other team is doing.
