Who gives a crap about old consoles . All in all , they deserved crappy PC port , just like many times PC gamers were served crappy console port. They are WELL Served. - PC master race out.
Noticed that only lines going upwards starts with "Free" - does that mean that "Patch 1.1" and "Patch 1.2" will not be free???
The Roadmap basically confirms: welcome to Beta-Phase. What? Did you even play CP77 on PC? Controls and control-usability as well as menu and screen real estate all of it is entirely designed for consoles and was ported from consoles to PC... None of it was optimized to make use of PC capabilities. You even have hard coded controls forced to use the keyboard and mouse the same way like a controller. Options are using sliders instead of drop down menus, because consoles don't have a mouse, so they didn't even bother to change that on PC. Speaking of the mouse... the mouse is a crappy large-scaled square that is horrible to control. In menus you have to scroll a lot, you have to hold down buttons, you cannot toggle aim down sights, you cannot change movement speed (walk/run), you cannot type in numbers to change values of stackable items instead you have to use a slider, you have to click through several menus just to reach weapon attachments and a lot more things that clearly looks like entire console-optimization simply ported to PC without any changes made. Damn, you can't even move items in the inventory-grid with the mouse...
So - don't bother playing this game until 2022? Fine by me. Until then, I still have more enjoyment watching the following video:
The fad of the game will be long forgotten by the next best thing by time this is properly playable. Should have been a steam early access title.
Yes i played , finished , and still playing , and i very much liked it, even with bugs . Honestly i dont remmber when , last time any game sucked me in soo hard .
I'd love to see an extra 30% performance improvement as well. That would make 1440p on my old gpu run 60fps. Also, if it's 10days out, then, we're looking around the 24th for the 1.1 patch.
so the next gen console update won't even happen until near Q4. Also no mention of RT for AMD so I'd be willing to bet that will happen at the next gen console patch.
1. How does one port a game from PC to the closed hardware ecosystem of the consoles, and then somehow claim to be blindsided when the game has some pretty obvious issues. I mean, is CDPR Quality Assurance using some sort of console emulator, or the actual consoles? This is almost akin to distributing a game disc with a diameter of 13cm, versus the standard twelve, and then being shocked that, somehow, it doesn't seem to function too well with existing optical drives. (I'm only half joking...) 2. Did the roadmap need to be yellow?
1: That, was my first and last reaction of that guy prattling on, reading a PR statement 2: It does when you are too chicken to tell the truth and, admit you were wrong.
