Tried playing yesterday, latest Nvidia driver. I keep getting crashes in Vulkan mode. Looks like i'm not the only one?
I run the game in DX12 and got no issues, always found vulkan a bit unstable on my rig so you could try DX12 or is there a specific reason you want to run vulkan ?
No reason in particular just that i streamed a bunch in vulkan a couple month back, seems more stable back then.
You get some weapons and a fast horse for free. You also get some things that make levelling up easier/faster. For the online mode you get gold for free so you can buy those roles (bounty hunter / treasure hunter / merchant) immediately instead of grinding daily goldbars until you can.
the vulkan crashes are connected to twitch studio installations, unlike the prior bandicam crashes, the twitch studio connected ones occur after some time instead of immediately.
I really do dislike that rdr2 online doesn't have an option for passive mode, unlike gta5, where the passive mode means i can fool around in the world, without being bothered by the (many) griefers. Sadly means i have to pass on it, cause i simply don't find it enjoyable (like alot of other people from what i see on forums).
Did 100% completion - game has continued to grow on me, and for me it's the primary contender for GOAT alongside witcher 3. Spoiler
^ could use spoiler tags, just to be frank. I can imagine now what's happening as I just play the SP campaign and yes, the end is coming. But for others, that's a total spoiler. Grats on the play through ofc
Yeah probably should have. Just figured the game is 2 years old, so... yeah. Anyways you dont get to that scene just doing the playthrough, you need to do 100% completion
Grats on the 100%.. I started on that myself with a 2nd playthrough last year but kinda ran outta steam when the Cold Weather bug got introduced in the December patch. I really hope they fix that bug when they drop the patch for DLSS.
most def a GOAT contender. even more, it's the best Rockstar's game iv played alongside San Andreas. as for comparing it to TW3 or other GOAT level games.. that's like the hardest thing to pick. it may sound silly, but those are very very hard picks for me. i will never be able to pick one GOAT game since there are too many GOAT's out there.
For me it's not even remotely close, RDR2 is the greatest game I've played in 40 years of being a gamer, the visuals are amazing, the characters and voice acting are top notch, the little details and ambient life of the world/animals/people is simply unsurpassed, and I haven't even completed the story a single time!
