ubisoft are responsible for hanging the driver, and they aren't competent enough to figure out a way to fix it.

 

Really now, happen also with other games, like Rocket League, i think is not anymore only Ubisoft.
Is a problem of Nvidia.

I have problems from when I updated the driver.
I did many bench, I tested CPU, ram and GPU and no errors. But games continue to crash.

 

I have random black screen for a few moments, then recovering, only when the card is in a low power, watching youtube videos/twitch streams.
I have no issue with games or stress test.

GPU 3060ti
Nvidia driver: 460.89

 

get the TDR dump file out of the reliability monitor event and send it to nvidia.

 

Update of my crashes with every game with my 3080:

I installed 460.97 hotfix.
I added exception of Ubisoft Games on Windows Defender.
I underclock of -150 the clock of my Evga XC3 Ultra 3080.
I disabled Dcom.
I disabled Tdr via Regedit.
I managed to play for about 1 hour and half at Ghost Recon Breakpoint, before it crashed after 3-4 minutes.
Watching again the event log i see that in the moment of the crash there is this:

"Download of the 'BEDaisy' file system filter (version 10.0, 2020 - 09 - 23T00: 16: 05.000000000Z) completed."
