The Tuf runs 1920 boost clock in games And if I was running it in a regular case with 3 case fans an such it would probably be running in the 50s.
You confuse the boost factory clock with the other boost that every GPU chip silicon has, and will be totally different. Specs of TUF are 1845 MHz, now you buy 2 units, unit A can boost up to 1920, but unit B can boost more or less, but both got the same 1845 MHz on specs. Your card are running at 1920 in games, my card is getting 2015 MHz but this is not the case, because every GPU is unique, and his own boost is totally unique. When video cards are compared, they get compared with the spec boost, not the silicon lottery boost... Are you understand now how this working ? Im not talking about the second boost that every chip silicon has,and is unique, im talking about the spec boost that every TUF 3070 has on paper and on GPU-Z if u look at.
Than you running gaming mode bios, you have 2 bios, gaming 1815 and overclock mode 1845, you can switch it

Thats two different cards. All OC editions use the same dual bios and performance mode vs quiet mode run the same clocks.
Why do you insist on being right about something you don't have ? If you have an ASUS TUF RTX 3070 OC edition, you have two bios, one with 1815 and the other with 1845 MHz, It is in the product specifications, see the link that I left you earlier, or look for it yourself. Same for the non OC edition, just less MHz for each bios. This is apart from maybe having another fan profile. It seems that you are trying to have a victory in a fight that only you have in your head, because the only thing I have tried to do is help you and explain how the nvidia boost works. For one thing I do have the card.Number two the info at that asus site is wrong.Theres no overclock mode or gaming mode,only performance mode and quiet mode and they both run at 1815.The only difference between them is fan speed.Both modes top out at 1935 in games.If you watched any of the youtube review videos on this card you would know that.
Also if you go to techpowerup site they have both bioses there and the specs and their both the same..

Hey! Long time member, haven't posted for absolutely ages but I've gotten back into PC gaming due to the pandemic. I've just taken delivery of my Asus 3070 Dual and have been playing around with it. Generally speaking I found that boosting on both quiet and performance BIOS tended to be in the 1920-1995mhz range, although mostly 1920 and scored around 12,000 on Time Spy with both. Since then I've switched to quiet BIOS and done some tweaking with undervolting. Currently I'm at 2010Mhz at 925mv with 8000Mhz memory 24/7 with Time Spy scores up to around 12,500. Temps seem to hit 75c after a long gaming session with the undervolting, I didn't actually test long gaming sessions without undervolting as yet but maybe this weekend I'll get chance to contrast an compare. Looking at the results from 3dmark undervolting seems to have knocked about 7c off just a single loop of Time spy 58c vs 65c.
