If the Radeon availability is still big zero at the end of January, then AMD can frack themselves. I will buy Nvidia.

I really wanted to switch sides this round, but same as you, whatever gets available in my area with 1-3 days delivery and maximum 10% over MSRP gets my dough.
So far still nothing from both vendors, just overpriced queues. No thanks.

They get 12nm chips from GloFo which serve as I/O for Ryzen CPUs.

I'd have liked to get a 6800XT, but local stock in my neck of the woods is appallingly poor, and when one does up, it'd be priced ridiculously high. Like a GB Aorus Master RX 6800 XT, priced at a whopping 1579USD. I love AMD and all, but can't support them at such ridiculous price.

I've pre-ordered a MERC319 RX 6900XT from Amazon, it's gonna cost me 'only' around 1200USD with import fee (GST) and it'd still be a little more expensive than many RX 6800 XT's here, and cheaper than some though.

That shitty weak troll Herkleman owes us all $10.

I got my 3080 at least a month later than I would have because of AMD's constant lying about how they'd have stock. I got "lucky" and got my order 6 weeks after I placed it. You owe me 1 month+ of 3080 time, Scott, you ugly PoS.

In a store here there were 3090's (Palit) and RX 6900XT. Now the 3090 are sold out (1800 euro - there was a sale promotion imagine that...) while PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 256-bit is still more than 9 pieces in stock...(1400 euro)

I finally upgraded my whole system after 7 years with Evga 780's SLI with an ASUS Strix 3080 OC. Would have liked to try AMD processor & GPU but the supply situation ruled this out. I have no idea how NVidia & AMD managed to so badly underestimate their production. PR clearly not something that concerns them?

It's not going to change until Sony and MS orders have been fulfilled...and there's literally millions waiting in line for them as well. As for Nvidia, their RTX3080 is just getting snapped-up before it's even considered for shipping. With all that's going on, I'm going to extend my own forecast for stock shortages until this time next year. It looks like the most obvious outcome right now. I'm expecting UK stock to be abysmal, especially now that we're dealing with Tier 4 etc.

Seriously, of course is on purpose, some markets have more GPUs than others. Here in Brasil is somewhat ease to find RTX 3080 ($ 1350) RTX 3090 ($ 2450) and 6800XT ($ 1050) - prices in US Bidens.

Why is easier to find in a late world like Brazil? Because we pay the most expensive prices in the world and shortages are the easier whay to companies gain a few bucks rapidly. That's a very old CFOs trick.

So, frack both Nvidia and AMD!

The best thing people can do right now is NOT pay these over inflated prices and give in to scalpers. If you keep doing that its just gonna get worse with every launch.

Looks like I've had a couple hundred £ worth out of my launch day £1449 Gaming X Trio to be fair. Was lucky to see it just sitting in stock. There does not appear to be anything near this price in stock 3090 wise and certainly there will never be a 3080 or 6900XT sold for less than £1000-1200 so I feel like I've saved myself having a GPU-less Winter.

Here in Asia, we can match yours in term of high prices, and perhaps beat you at it...sadly. There's only one shop in the local tech mall that sells cards at near MSRP, but still, a typical 6800XT goes from anywhere between over 1k USD (which is the price sold by that shop) to 1580USD for the Aorus Master RX 6800XT. At these crazy price level, it'd be better for me to buy cards off Amazon, and I have, an XFX Speedster MERC319 for 'just' 1200USD including import fees (which is GST), since the 6800XT is impossible to get, the 6900XT is the next better option, and more reasonably priced at that!

I mean, the lack of availability sucks. It really does, but you know what really sucks? Both companies that have very limited stock, and cards from partners that are just stupid overpriced for no reason!
