Currently best budget gaming cpu is 10700F. It is cheaper than 5600X . So i'd say competition is good :D

@Hilbert Hagedoorn look @ hwinfo this sample is also 11900(non-k) because TDP is 65w.

The serie 5000 is the new hot thing, is scalped, under xmas, low stock, so is overpriced.
The situation needs to be fixed, not the cpu price, that would be 339eur, taxed, when things are back to normal.

    no its not.
not everyone has the same (other) hw/games/os/budget (and so on), so stating that a certain cpu is the best (budget) solution is false.

what if someone already has an am4 board? then the intel is a complete waste, as you would have to replace board as well.
outside the fact the 3800X will match it, and do everything else better,
and anything like a 3800XT on sale will eat it, perf and power (usage) wise..

It is. Just pure price /performance for gaming/ 16 threads. It's close to 5600x and cheaper here. I didn't say nothing about platform or power draw.

Just for comparison, my 5900X stock with just PBO enabled does 660+ in the same cpu-z single thread benchmark.

No point in upgrading CPU just yet, not even AMD. Will probably keep it till at least next Ryzen series at this point. 618 in CPU-Z atm.

TSMC stopped giving discounts to ANYONE since they can sell 200% of their production and there is no competition. Some are speculation that the 50$ price jump on Ryzen 5000 CPU's is a result of that (or at least some of the 50$ increase)

again, its not. you even say its cheaper in your country. what if the amd is cheaper?
its one thing to say its "you"r best choice, but that doesnt mean its for everyone, especially if the budget is higher.

that's some sick mobo keeping BCLK at 100,00 even random SS caught it...I am yet to see bclk at 100 other than in UEFI. And that's after 2600K 3770K, 4790, 8400, 9400, 9700...Never had it at 100,00 in cpu-z. 99,99, sure, 99,95, yup, 100,xx, 10x,xx sure...

    This is probably doctored.

edit: it doesn't even matter. AM5 is going to be much better option. Changing mobos and sockets, intel style, nope. Enough for me.
