Driver is broken, it crashes continuously on games.

    Reverted back to 457.51 !

I'm on the exact same card as you, not one single crash on multiple games. Maybe try reinstalling the driver or look at your system stability? List your whole specs and I can maybe see where the difference may lie?

The main reason to go back to 457.30 or lower is mainly for screen flickering for me.

No screen flickering for me as I'm only hooked up to a 4K TV via HDMI. All in all the driver's working really well but I can understand a lot of people with their specific setups and high refresh rate displays are having issues.

no flickering here on my XG270QG 165hz, drivers running well for CP2077, cold war MP and warzone.

    @Astyanax

From which version Nvidia removed Optimal power management? Right now I have only Normal and High Performance mode amd this normal mode literally causing few headaches when I edit pictures in Photoshop or I just open bloody Windows Photo Viewer

    Thanks, Jura

I just tested this driver to see any flickering i dont see any atm with my 1080 ti that might because i changed the power settings in nv control panel to optimal presentation.

So far this driver gaved me a nice fps boost in a few games, and clarity seems also better, more colorful and sharper in overal. IQ is more refined. To be clear i use 144 hz.

This driver is exactly the same as 460.79 apart from the vulkan rt extension and did absolutely none of the above

456 and 7 were already using the behavior of normal even though they had optimal and adaptive options.

I got that experience after updating driver the first time they had the new color setting, about a month ago.

Set your power to optimal presentation, flicker is gone then. Just a bit higher temps on iddle.
Edit: dont forget to reboot after the change.

This adaptive and optimal is only missing with RTX 3xxx series in these drivers or its missing on older GPU like RTX 2080Ti etc as well ?

Because some people reporting they still have Optimal and adaptive power management with older GPUs and these drivers

    Thanks, Jura

This driver crashes Cyberpunk 2077 after the initial loading screen.
Went back to the previous WHQL driver and the game ran flawlessly again on my RTX2060
