yeah they had to know it was gonna be like a car pileup,i guess they shoulda staggerd the realease times or gave this to us on the preload lol

 

Looking at things, it doesn't seem like either of todays patches made any giant leap in quality.
It's same as i've seen on pre release streams, the game is mostly functional but a lot of non-essential stuff breaks randomly.
NPCs spawning in plain view, dying and talking, walking through solid objects, weird pixelated shadows on ultra settings, first person model casting shadows without hair and Witcher 3 'ish animation culling on head.

Needs more time in the oven.

 

Yeah, its a bit crazy. I am actually at 0 bytes/s right now and it hasn't changed in about 3 minutes. I still have 3gb left and its not even moving lol.

 

Damn, partway through character creation and it quit (flatlined they called it lol).
Sent a report as requested, but feck.

 

I'm not looking at 'things' i'm looking at game and it looks and runs like a dream.

Played 40 or so minutes so far, really good. DLSS really makes the game blurrier, but I need it otherwise the FPS is not sustainable. All maxed out, shadows on medium. I wonder if AA is on... looks like it is.

I have an exam tomorrow, so I need to stop early; otherwise I'd be playing all night - bleh.

 

Created a chick with big boobs and a dong lol, seems smooth so far with 1080ti @ 3440x1440 gsync. Havnt enabled FPS as thats usually a crash headache wirh new releases.

 

Been going back and forth alot now, and i really do think the game looks better in alot of places without raytracing

gog was having problems retrieving the file lists for awhile but been playing since about 4 20 local ;p.

Didn't see one, i'm pissed they forced AA on us.

 

Something you don't see on comparison screenshots or highly compressed youtube videos, but even dlss quality has alot more aliasing than native res. Like native 4k has zero aliasing, and dlss quality has quite a bit.

Fortunately with OC my 3090 manages nearly 60 fps at native 4k without rtx.
