Uh... nope, i have Optimal, Adaptive and Prefer Max still.

It will instead have a setting for DP mode, set it to 1.1 instead of 1.2 or higher, but this really screws you if you have one of the DSC ultrawides :(

My samsumg 144 hz got that option but its already off i never use freesync or either g-sync, i hope nvidia is seeying this flickering problem and fix it before cyberpunk is released else i am going back to two older drivers there is no flickering in there.

The driver works with RDR2. I'm using Vulkan, borderless window + Gsync though.

Seems to be an OpenHardware Monitor thing, GPU-Z, MSI AB, and HWinfo64 work fine with power values

The only things that stand out are aborting the unloading of certain files within installer2\Driver.Controlpanel, which should not exist with DCH drivers.

Mmmh I cannot customize the sharpening anymore with watch dogs legion using these drivers, from the control panel I mean. As soon as I modify the slider and apply my settings the text inside the box turns into "nvida recommended". Needless to say that the provided sharpness slider found in the game still leaves the image extremely blurry.

Im using a ASUS TUF VG32VQ(non validated g sync compatible) with previous drivers and im not having any problem, no flickering, chrome running fine with youtube, HDR, etc. Tested with 3080 and 2080S.
I'll test this new drivers and check if theres something wrong

do you think it might me something wrong with my videocard? I can install any other drive, can this be some special feature of this particular drive that is "broken"on my gpu?

No, I did DDU before the installation and now I see only Normal / Prefer max.
In other words, I did not update from the previous version to the new one. I wanted a clean install..

    its not broken.

but after looking at the first file again, i realised google drive doesn't load the entire file, so i've got a lot more to look over yet.

can you export HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvlddmkm\FTS and attach it?

There is less than a page worth of results for the error code.

What windows build are you on?

Idle power used has always been reported around 10% with idle temp around 43C.
On installing this driver, power used dropped to 0% yet the temp remained at 43C, same after reboot.
It looks like they simply subtracted the idle power used from the reported value and done nothing to change the actual power use.

only normal and max performance here too, no adaptive, after ddu.

how come directx ultimate always says disabled in dxdiag? any way to enable that?

Normal and Max Performance are indeed intended for the 30 series, it will still show adaptive and optimal for other cards. (Confirmed with Manuel)

insp1re2600 does gpu-z list dx12 features like sampler feedback and mesh shaders are present?
