I downloaded Prime 95 from your site and it has taken over my downloads folder. I cannot stop it and I cannot delete it. It is running and controlling my system (win 10) it doesn't show up in installed programs I even went into safe mode and tried to delete it but I can't access it because the folder just hangs when I try to open it.

Is this a joke? I have better things to do with my time.

The task manager comes up almost empty, it's not showing all that it's supposed to show.

    Thank you for responding.

The task manager only shows firefox, google earth and flight simulator. It doesn't show the windows tasks etc. I am a windows 7 user who is new to 10, I had to upgrade for MSFS2020. So I'm only assuming that it is supposed to show more. In any event, it's not showing Prime 95.

When I try to open the downloads folder my CPU fans take off but the folder won't open,

Does restarting kill it? If it does try deleting it and redownload . What is your AV?

Nothing kills it. I even went into safe mode and tried to delete the exe file but the system won't let me into that folder, which is where Prime95 exists.

To anybody who stumbles into this conversation.
I was able to delete the downloads folder and that seems to have solved the problem.

IMO Prime 95 is a nasty program.
