Hi! I bought a samsung 980pro nvme m2 pcie4 in sight of a new configuration with 7nm intel and other and now im asking myself if it is possible awaiting that to use this new samsung 980 pcie4 with my actual aorus z270x intel chipset motherboard. Will it work, yes not fast as it can, but will it work at all?
It will work but just not have the top end speeds of the huge sequential numbers you see in the reviews.
