    AMD can't implement DLSS

and your opinion on degraded image quality is debunked.

What's everyone's idle temps? My VII used to be in the low 30's, but my 6800 even with Zero RPM off has a temp of 40/52 (current/junction). It's about 10 higher witih Zero RPM on. Under load the temps are really good, 82 for the junction is the highest I've seen. I'm normally running two monitors, so the memory is running full speed. Even with one monitor and much lower memory clock, it's still above 45 junction.

My 6800xt settles at 37/42 idle with zero fan on. However I have an low-rpm 14" side-fan blowing just underneath the card.

Junction overall and how that works is the hottest sensor in a particular area (GPU, VRAM) so it's usually going to read a bit higher, surface or the usual sensor temp before TJunction should show a lower number if you want to compare to older GPU models. :)

EDIT: For my 5700XT there's usually about a 10 degree range up to 20 degree during heavy workload conditions between the two.
(AMD's drivers apply the fan profile during GPU load now so it runs at the bios defined fairly low default speed in idle which does bring up the temperature slightly.)

Update from W1zzard (creator of GPUZ) /// he confirms that GPUZ can't read the BIOS out of the 6800xt yet.

Was just reading that, impressive to see results already. :)

EDIT: Suppose they are fairly close to the 300 limit the 2x 8-pin connectors provide and then the last 75 from the PCI-E itself.

Thus the 15% cap in Wattman but shown here they do scale above that if given a chance to do so.

Might mean there's a bit of a reason for the 3x 8-pins but scaling will show how well that works out plus it seems many of the shown custom models still utilize 2x 8-pin so probably diminishing returns even if clock speeds go up a bit higher.

Second batch of 6800's and 6800XT's should be on AMD's website this week and probably sell out almost immediately again (Still no word as to EU shipments actually arriving either.) but the customs should start showing up too might allow for some better stock situation as a result. :)

Powercolor red devil makes a dual bios 6800xt, might be able to get that one.. Also I'm surprised no one has tried messing with the soc voltage yet, my Vega benefitted from it but idk if it correlates

Would be nice if Igor provided us with XFX bios that he is talking about, but unfortunately it's nowhere to be found and he won't share it.

DLSS looks like crap. It degrades quality.

Cause we are unable to get to the BIOS as of now.... and this is required for either RBE or MPT to work...

Hey thanks for a real honest answer, not easy to come by anymore these days. I'm interested in that card and PM'd you if you don't have a buyer lined up. That is if you do get the 6900XT.

I believe MS's blog on DirectML vs DLSS upscaling shows how degrading DLSS is.

I have seen no blog comparing DLSS to DML.

I've seen websites reposting the car comparison image with editors taking liberty on writing misleading descriptions for it.

2500 - 2600Mhz so much win! That's what impresses me most about these cards, i'm also a believer in AMDs fine wine. Can't wait till 6900xt review.
Stage 1 RT by AMD is totally fine imo.
